We were just done, Billy coldly disappoints and dismisses Chelsea. Phyllis has brought food and information.

Despite Cameron’s scolding, Sharon continues – it might be best for Lucy if she didn’t have to run into Faith all the time. She’s going back to school, Daniel knows this is about Sharon’s hate towards him. You’re never going to get past this, are you?

Annoyed that Phyllis spoiled their moment, Abby’s led out by the hand. Where’s Devon taking her? To their next moment.

It’s killing you to see/hear me, Daniel knows. When Nick appears, Sharon explains that she was just apologising. It’s not true that I can’t stand the sight of you and I won’t go off on you or your family again, she promises Daniel.

Winters is thinking of poaching some of ‘our’ company’s IT talent, Phyllis tells Billy. Our company? he gobbles down the take-out while she eats the cookies Chelsea brought. Phyllis refers to herself as Billy’s partner as she encourages him to bounce ideas off her – or vent about Chelsea. I’m all ears.

Connor likes Sally (and Billy) but tells his Dad that what he had with Mom was better/more. Chelsea listens.

In the park, Abby and Devon look up at the stars and kiss.

Getting a text from Heather, Daniel has to go make some decisions. Admiring Sharon’s strength as a person and a parent, he figures he’ll be doing alright if he loves his kid half as much as she does hers. After Daniel leaves, Nick claims that Faith wants to talk to them at the house. Sharon will meet him there. Cameron has the last word – we can’t let them get in the way of what we need to do.

After telling Mariah a story about their devoted Mom, Faith’s fretting again when Nick arrives to say that Sharon’s on her way. She was with Daniel, he adds.

Devon and Abby are kissing some more in the park.

Joining Adam and Connor, Chelsea asks about what she overheard. Connor explains why his parents are better together. Adam’s not giving up on Sally. Have you given up on Billy or do you think you can work it out? Connor asks his Mom.

Billy will bring Phyllis on as second in command – a distant second, NOT a partner. Understand?

This is not a democracy, you don’t get to vote, Billy orders Phyllis to listen, share BUSINESS ideas and do what she’s told – I’m the one calling the shots at Abbott Chancellor. Stay in your lane – can you do that? Phyllis will sleep on it (she leaves with the tin of cookies)

Chelsea’s not sure if things will work out with Billy. Connor likes him (and Sally) but what he likes even better is for his parents to be together. He thinks they like it better too.

Sharon was apologising to Daniel – but there was an edge to her voice; like she was placating us, Nick reports to the girls. She’s fighting like hell so her memories of Cassie don’t take her to a dark place – he worries it’s a fight she can’t win right now.

Cameron’s sure Nick’s luring Sharon into a trap. Daniel might be leaving town and your family wants to ‘take care of you’ (by shipping you off to Fairview) We might not get another chance – we need to do this NOW.
