Chelsea worries that Connor will blame himself. Billy will talk to him.
After Lily leaves, Vikki gets the impression her Dad’s not being forthcoming with her. Victor’s annoyed when Cole arrives to take Vikki out for lunch. You betrayed me, he reminds when Vikki goes to fetch her purse. Do you really think you can order me to stay away from your daughter? he balks. I just did, Victor growls.
Jack feels he let both Diane and Kyle down by stepping back when he should have stepped in. Now, Kyle’s in cahoots with Victor and Diane’s unhappy. He won’t give up hope that they can fix this.
In the park with Kyle, Claire’s happy to hear that he and Summer resolved custody. How are you such an optimist after all you’ve been through with Jordan? he marvels.
In Victor’s office, Audra can see that he’s in a bad mood (and quickly finds out why) Victor understands she told someone that he invested in Glacade (that wipes the smile off her face)
Chelsea brings Connor into CL’s – then leaves him to have a man to man talk with Billy (who assures him that their ‘break’ has nothing to do with him) He has to focus on work. Besides, I’m too selfish and don’t have time to love someone as amazing as your Mom.
At the club, Vikki confides in Cole that her Dad’s using Lily to go after Billy. She’s conflicted and has thought about warning him. Cole relays Victor’s warning for him to stay away from her. Yes, this is a ‘romance’ – if you can’t tell I’m doing it wrong. No, you’re doing everything right, Vikki smiles shyly.
If you lose my trust it’s nearly impossible to regain it, Victor warns Audra.
Without eluding to what Audra’s walking into, Kyle’s sure that his challenges at work will be behind him soon. And with your parents? Claire thinks time and space might improve things. She knows they hurt him but she hasn’t given up that they can work it out.
Billy will always consider Connor part of his family and one of the bravest people he’s ever met. Be gentle with your Mom, give her extra hugs. No, Billy won’t stop caring about her. Giving Connor a hug, Billy’s on the verge of tears when Sally arrives. Let’s get out of here.
Cole starts every day by writing to give him a jolt – but now thinking of Vikki gives him that jolt. She missed him when he went to Oxford to get his things. Cole’s the person she wants to talk to when she’s happy or sad.
Nate put the pieces together, Audra insists. Victor doesn’t trust her or Nate. Audra trusts Nate a helluva lot more than she does Kyle.
Promise me you won’t give up on our son, Jack implores. Of course Diane will keep trying to make things right with Kyle (who arrives at Society laughing it up with Claire)
Seated on a park bench, Billy and Sally commiserate without speaking.
Vikki and Cole make out in a suite upstairs.
Audra needs to be able to make her own choices in order to make Glacade a success – including who to trust. You trusted McCall – look what that got you, Victor quips. It got me Glacade, Audra will make it a success – Kyle’s working you for his own agenda. No one is working me, Victor’s indignant. Then why did Kyle tell you about my ‘indiscretion’? Audra leaves him to think.
Claire leads Kyle over to Diane and Jack’s table – would it be OK if we all sat down to talk? she asks.
