Flashing back to Chelsea’s confession, Billy finishes his drink, throws money on the bar and leaves the club.
At home, Adam flashes back to lying to Chelsea, sleeping with Chelsea. Rereading her text, he’s about to leave when Sally appears at the top of the stairs to ask where he’s going.
In the jazz lounge, Alan tells Traci that he wants to find a place in GC.
Nick and Sharon are distraught as they watch over Faith. Flanked by her parents, Lucy comes to – what happened? You were in an accident with Faith. Faith!? she’s alarmed.
Nick reassures Sharon that everything will be OK. Faith awakens to murmur – Mom? Dad?
Alan wants to be where Traci is. GC or New York. She doesn’t want him to feel pressured by her family. He meant every word he said – was I being presumptuous? No – but she doesn’t want him to regret giving up everything then resenting her. Alan will fix these ‘crossed wires’.

Alan just wants to live where Traci is. She wants to discuss logistics. In New York, she has her agent and writer friends; their relationship might do better there – where she’s her own person, not Jack and Ashley’s sister.

Billy barges in – no, this can’t wait. You couldn’t tell the woman you love the truth. Chelsea had the courage to be honest with me. Though Adam does his best to get rid of Billy, Sally tells him to stay.
