Faith tells her Mom that Lucy snuck out of the house She sent me this – she’s in trouble. Lucy texts again – Last favour I’ll ever ask, she promises. Sharon knows Faith must help Lucy. Where are you? Faith replies to Lucy.

Summer lied to Kyle to protect me – it tanked Summer and Kyle’s marriage, Phyllis says. Nick doesn’t blame her. He doesn’t understand why Kyle can forgive his Mom but not Summer. Kyle’s the one who tanked the marriage. Phyllis owns what she did – I’m gonna fix it.

Jack wants to rebuild that trust. Kyle confides that he had a civil conversation with Summer and hopes they can avoid a custody battle. Jack again invites Kyle to have a drink with him and talk – like the old times. Nope, Kyle refuses. And since they don’t work together and soon won’t live together, he thinks it’ll be easier to avoid each other all together. Without further word but with a heavy heart, Jack leaves Kyle near tears.

Discussing Lucy’s recent ‘mistakes’, Heather has to consider that their choices may be the cause (moving so many times) Making new friends is hard. Lucy’s all about being Faith’s friend, Daniel adds.

You came – thank you! Lucy’s, drunk, dishevelled and weepy. Faith picks up a bottle of vodka from under the park bench – please tell me this isn’t yours!

Nick doesn’t want Phyllis to meddle (more than she has) Just give Summer love and support. Give me your word. Yes, absolutely, Phyllis agrees.

Daniel worries Lucy will make a mistake she can’t come back from. One night as an out of control teenager changed his life – and cost Cassie hers. Maybe Lucy thinks I’m going to go dark again, he worries. Heather hopes she’ll meet friends her age when school starts.

Faith dumps the vodka out – where did you get this? Lucy snuck into a bar and stole it. What’s going on with you!? Lucy’s sad because Faith doesn’t want to be her friend. You’re a kid – a cool kid. Let’s call your parents. No, they’ll kill me – please just drive me home. Faith doesn’t want to be part of Lucy’s lies – again.

Now alone, Sharon’s glad Cameron’s also gone – hopefully for good. No more talk about closure, Nick, Cassie. She answers her phone. What!? An accident!? I’m on my way! she hurries out crying ‘no, no, no’.

Daniel’s trying to talk Heather into having dessert when she gets a call. Yes, yes – we’ll be right there. Lucy’s in the ER, she had an accident, she tells Daniel. They both rush out.

Do you ever wonder if the video games we used to play inspired Daniel’s career. Sharon calls Nick. What? Slow down – what happened? Faith’s been in an accident. Gotta go. When Nick hurries by as Jack arrives at CL’s, he asks Phyllis – is everything alright?

Summer and Chance kiss in front of the revolving door. Kyle walks by – hi. Have you given our conversation some thought? She has. Kyle has too.

Nick joins Sharon in the ER. The EMT who brought the girls in updates that both are unconscious. There were two cars? No, only one. When Heather and Daniel arrive asking the same questions, they all quickly realise that Faith and Lucy were together.

Summer thinks they should have their lawyers draw up a fair custody agreement. Kyle agrees – we can set things up in the morning. Have a good night. You too. Summer and Chance go upstairs.

Phyllis tells Jack that Faith’s been in an accident. He’s devastated – Nick and Sharon have been through so much. Faith HAS to be OK.

The EMT tells both sets of parents that the car skidded off the road and crashed into a wall. The attending doctor will be able to tell them more. Refusing to wait, Sharon yanks open the nearest curtain. As luck would have it, she finds Faith – she cries over her unconscious daughter. Daniel and Heather part the curtain in the adjoining cubicle and find Lucy unconscious in the bed next door.

My Thoughts: It doesn’t look like either Lucy or Faith have suffered fatal injuries; there’s no doctors rushing around and wheeling equipment in…. Pretty dumb that anyone can just yank open curtains in an emergency room. An elderly patient having mini strokes might be shocked into a full on, massive, coronary .. This accident comes as NO surprise – they’ve been dropping anvils on us for months. It’s also a good guess that this will indeed bring Sharon and Nick back together …. So, Lucy somehow managed to sneak into a bar and steal a bottle of vodka without being detected? Looks like someone’s about to lose their liquor license or worse, be sued into oblivion. At least Heather will finally get to put her law license to good use… Kyle IS being an ass. If he was as good a father as he claims to be, he’d at least reassure Harrison’s grandparents that they’ll have access to him. The boy loves is DD. Oh wait, he hasn’t called her that or even mentioned Diane in ages.
