Oh my God – of course, Nikki suddenly sees the light – you put Adam in charge of Newman Media to go after Billy/Chancellor. He’ll go public with Jill’s health. Victor doubts it’d come to that – Adam only needs to make the threat. What if he calls Adam’s bluff? Nikki reminds Victor that Billy is their grandchildren’s father. Even if he leaves Chancellor, Lily will be in charge. That’s where you come in, Victor smirks.

Nikki can’t see Lily going for ‘that’. She just can’t imagine it. It needs to be finessed, Victor praises her – you light up any room you walk into. Keep your eye on the prize – which you want very much.

Running into Lily at CL’s, Nate can see that things are already going downhill between her and Billy. Guess you’re finding it harder to push Billy out than you thought. Lily’s NOT happy that Devon told Nate all about her original plan. You turned Chancellor into an empire – you deserve to run it on your own, Nate concludes.

At Society, Billy tells Chance that Lily’s biding her time to oust him. When Chance says there’s no evidence of that, Billy hopes he’s not on her side and continues to badmouth Lily. This has gone on long enough – it’s time for her to go, he snaps.

Kyle admits that he doesn’t trust Audra but must work with her ‘for now’. He plans to run Glacade by himself – by setting her up to fail before she does it to him. One day he’ll tell Summer everything, but for now – trust me. And let’s not go to court.

Kyle wants them to be the parents Harrison deserves. Call off the lawyers – we’ll handle custody on our own. Summer needs to think about it. Secrets, underhanded things going on are red flags to her. Come clean – tell me everything. Oh look – the partner you don’t trust is looking for you, she says when Audra comes downstairs to the lounge.

Lily tells Nate that she couldn’t be happier for Devon – Winters is his baby. Chancellor is hers. She DID make it bigger and better – that’s why she can’t let Billy ruin it. How can you get rid of him when he has Jill’s voting power? Nate wonders. Lily doesn’t know but she must try.

You’re going to get rid of Lily without any proof that she has it in for you? Chance wonders what Jill will think – she handpicked Lily for this job and wants you to run Chancellor together. Billy’s not having it – he needs to end this immediately; so sends Lily a text – need to see you ASAP.

Hope I’m not interrupting, Audra needs to talk to Kyle about her meetings in Paris. He’s all yours, Summer tells Kyle she’ll think about what he said. That leaves Audra to wonder why Summer’s so worried – I’ve never met the kid. And you shouldn’t, Kyle comments.

When Lily calls, Billy tells her his new press release is ready; he’d like it to go out tonight. Where’s he rushing off to? Summer arrives to ask Chance. To prove that every negative thing people say about him is true, he sighs.

In the dining room, Nikki doesn’t see why Victor couldn’t tell her that he’d hired Adam as his attack dog. Are there any other targets? She doesn’t care for vengeance (or Victor dismissing her to focus on having a lovely dinner)

Kyle and Audra agree to stay out of one another’s lives but to share information on Glacade as partners should.

Chance reports telling Billy he was being impulsive, short sighted and paranoid. When she suggests he leave before Billy tries to force him out, Chance says it might not be necessary. If it comes to Billy vs Lily, his money’s on her.

Well, well – fate is smiling on us tonight. Victor and Nikki invite Lily to join them for a drink. She’s there to meet Billy. How are things going with your partner in crime? Victor asks. It’s a work in progress, Lily finally manages to say. Speak of the devil, Victor goes to have a word with Billy – leaving Nikki to smile sweetly – then ask Lily how things are – really.
