In the jazz lounge, Summer’s sure there’s something sketchy about Kyle’s partnership with Audra. She couldn’t care less about Harrison, Kyle rightly points out to his ex.
Meanwhile, upstairs, over dinner, Audra whines to Nate about the situation she finds herself in. But, in no uncertain terms, makes it clear that she’s not walking away from Glacade.
Billy’s back from handling something personal. In a foul mood, he refuses to make any revisions to the press release, Accusing Lily of lying to him, he wants to know her real ‘agenda’.
At Newman, Nikki’s sorry to hear that Jill’s not in good health and hopes Victor doesn’t plan to exploit it.
Yes, Victor will use Jill’s illness against Billy and her mistake (of putting him in charge) to his advantage. You have no problem pulling the rug out from under him? Nikki balks. None whatsoever, Victor replies without hesitation.
You’re exhausting. No, you’re exhausting. Billy believes Lily’s been planning to kick him to the curb all along!
If Victor’s setting Kyle up to fail as revenge against Jack, Audra will get what she wants (to run Glacade by herself) It’s win-win, she tells Nate.
Summer is a psychic – she knows Kyle doesn’t trust Audra either and that her grandpa’s involved. Victor just asked me to work things out with you – which is what Kyle’s now trying to do.
Summer continues to nag Kyle – are you being forced to stay in this partnership with Audra? Talk to me – tell me what’s really going on.
Nate would love to go upstairs with Audra but he has some work to do. Yes, we both keep our eye on the big prize – but we don’t go about it the same way, Nate expresses mild disapproval. One way or another, Glacade will be all mine, Audra’s confident. Nate’s in her corner so hopes things don’t blow up in her face. If this blows up in anyone’s face it’ll be Kyle’s, not mine, she sashays upstairs.
You’re just like your brother – power-hungry and blaming me for everything! Billy shouts at Lily. Managing to be civil for thirty seconds when Chance arrives at the office, Lily leaves her partner to whine to Chance that she can’t be trusted.
