Kyle’s summoned to the GCAC to meet Victor so will have to meet Claire and Harrison at the park for ice cream afterwards.

Now seated, Phyllis rants that Kyle’s making her daughther’s life hell because he was fired. He’s moving Harrison out of the only home he’s ever known and going after sole custody – surely Diane and Jack aren’t OK with him being with Audra. I don’t want her around Harrison – she’s dangerous. Stay out of it, Jack warns.

Enjoying bubbly in the park, Devon and Abby discuss her giant blue saphire ring; Dom’s favourite colour and a gem that represents trust and faith. I love it and I love you, Abby can’t wait to show her Mom over videochat. Getting married on her birthday, November 13th is perfect ~kiss~

Claire’s a positive influence in Harrison’s life, not a threat – and stop whispering in Summer’s ear about Audra, Diane accuses Phyllis of pushing Summer to seek sole custody. Phyllis would never fire her daughter – how many times will you reject your son? she taunts Diane.

Enjoying ice cream in the park, Harrison mopes about his parents getting divorced – he misses doing things together. They both love you, Claire reassures. But they don’t love each other, they don’t even like each other, Harrison adds.

Informed that this meeting isn’t about business, Kyle correctly guesses that Summer went to Victor. Yes, and he doesn’t like what he’s hearing.

Kyle feels that Summer’s insecurity and paranoia over Claire and Audra are ridiculous. She’s the problem. No, he’d never remove Summer from Harrison’s life. Fix it, talk to her, Victor orders.

You’re the reason Kyle and Summer broke up – you watched your children mourn your death – what kind of person does that? Diane asks with a straight face. As expected, Phyllis reminds Diane that she too faked her own death. If you want to help Summer and our grandson, leave them alone! Diane’s shouting when Summer arrives to apologize to her and Jack. Don’t you dare apologize for me! Phyllis balks as she’s hustled away. That was appalling, Jack looks stunned when Diane assumes he’s referring only to Phyllis’ behavior.

In the jazz lounge, Summer’s scolding her Mom when Victor joins them to say that he handled everything – have a nice day. Please tell me you didn’t ask him to help you, Phyllis is alarmed.

Devon and Abby laugh as they plan their wedding – will Dom be a ring bearer or best man?

Claire and Harrison are pointing out animal shapes in the clouds when Kyle arrives to join them. Did everything turn out like you hoped? she asks. All good, Kyle reports as he looks upwards.

Jack implores Diane to let Summer and Kyle work things out between them. Don’t give Phyllis the satisfaction. Diane’s determined to take Phyllis on to win Kyle back.

Still in the lounge, Summer’s tells her Mom that she’s grateful for her grandpa’s help. You’ll be forever indebted, Phyllis warns – Victor would indeed use his own granddaughter (or anyone) to get what he wants. Getting a text from Kyle, Summer’s hopeful that her grandpa’s already helped.

Next Week: I’m going to need you to cut someone out of your life, Summer tells Kyle. No, not Claire …. Phyllis wants to have a talk with Lily, woman to woman. We have a lot to chat about … At Society, Jack and Diane seem happy for Traci and Alan. He knew they were getting close, he didn’t realize how close … At Newman Media, Victor tells Adam that he put him in charge because he knew he’d do what needs to be done when the time came. That time has come.
