Nikki annoys Jack by seeing Kyle’s perspective. She finds it interesting that Diane has everything she wanted when she came back to town.

Still in the park, Billy defends Chelsea while Sally defends Adam. Chelsea’s spiraling – maybe Connor’s not doing as well as they claim. The only way we can be there for them is by learning the truth.
Heather DID do everything she could last time – she stayed with Daniel as long as she could and only took Lucy to Portugal to spare her. She knows the signs to look for this time and besides, Daniel’s a different man. Phyllis pastes on a fake smile when Daniel arrives with Lucy.
No drinking, no other substances, not boys, Daniel and Heather warn Lucy. Call me when you’re done, Daniel will pick her up. Outside, Lucy pauses to pout before marching off.
Everything Diane’s wanted has fallen in her lap. Jack disagrees – what she wanted most was to reconnect with Kyle. He won’t listen to this anymore and denies that he’s reading more into it. Nikki admits that she doesn’t trust Diane.
Adam now gets a visit from Billy. Something’s changed since your trip to Baltimore. He wants to know what.
Sally runs into Chelsea on the patio, She too wants to know if something bad happened in Baltimore.
Connor’s not worse than you’re letting on, Sally hopes – Adam’s been on edge. Did he do something to upset you? No, he’s been very supportive – ask him directly, Chelsea leaves Sally even more puzzled.
You both came back from Baltimore pretty torn up, Billy questions Connor’s progress and what ‘mistakes’ Chelsea’s made? Did you do something to upset her? he asks Adam.
Jack’s mad that Nikki won’t cut Diane some slack. We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of – she’s the woman I love, not a gold-digger. I’m done here, Jack marches out.

Adam got drunk and said some things he regrets to Chelsea. You know how vulnerable she is, Billy could strangle him right now (but appreciates the honesty) What we’re going through is torture. Yeah, Billy can relate – losing Delia drove him and Vikki apart. Don’t go down that road – you’re lucky to have Sally in your life. Seconds after Billy leaves, Sally appears to snap Adam out of flashing back to his tryst with Chelsea. What’s wrong? she asks.
Chelsea holds back tears as she sits on a park bench; gasping as she tries to catch her breath.
