Sally continues to warn Adam – then nag him. Hearing that he lied to Nick and Vikki (that he didn’t know what Dad’s up to) she wonders if this is the example she wants to set for Connor. You want an honest relationship with him – the kind you can’t have with your own father.
Kyle’s tired of Summer’s paranoia where Claire’s concerned. He’s taking HIS son to Paris. I’m the one he calls Mommy, Summer only wanted to provide a space for Harrison when he’s with her. YOU’RE the one hiring lawyers, don’t talk to me about cruelty! Kyle storms out – as Phyllis arrives to tell Summer that this has to stop.
Adam will protect Jack if his Dad goes too far. Sally’s so worried because she loves him. Adam’s already heard this – from Chelsea (who was here when Victor dropped by) She’s afraid Victor will seduce him to go down a dark road. She doesn’t trust Victor. Maybe you don’t know me as well as you think you do, Adam goes to settle into his new office.
You can’t fight in a public place when lawyers are involved, Phyllis warns Summer. You have to find common ground with Kyle. He keeps reminding me that I’m not Harrison’s biological Mom – it kills me.
As luck would have it, Adam and Chelsea run into one another at the park. We can’t keep leaning on each other – not anymore, he decides.
Lucy’s sorry for throwing her Dad under the bus. Daniel knows Heather’s job hunt is getting her down. He has some ‘irons in the fire’ – we’ll be fine, he doesn’t want her to worry. Deciding to go to Lisbon, after all (to make her Mom feel better) Lucy asks if Daniel will too.
Sally joins Audra at the club for breakfast. She might be ‘glowing’ but it meant nothing. Audra detects an anti-glow – what is it? Sally relays her argument with Adam – Victor wants him to take down Jabot/Jack. Audra thanks Sally for telling her – I’m here for you.
Back at the park, Adam’s now confided in Chelsea and Sally – he needs to stop talking about it and do it. He rules out therapy because he doesn’t want to ‘dig deeper’ – it feels safer to put the blinders on and move forward. That doesn’t mean it is, Chelsea warns.
It’s not your job to fix me. Was I doing that? Chelsea’s sorry – she won’t butt in anymore. She and Adam know one another so well; they can be who they really are.
Running into Faith inside CL’s, Lucy has good news – she’s not going to Portugal; we can hang around all summer. Faith isn’t thrilled.
Audra tells Sally that she’s going to Paris again. No, she hasn’t heard from Tucker. There’s nothing he can do to me, she almost feels bad for him but has fresher problems – Kyle’s joining her in Paris. What does HE have to do with this? Sally asks.
Phyllis doesn’t think that Claire’s a threat – Harrison loves you. Summer’s more worried about Audra.
Heather’s back on the patio to update Daniel that she talked to Paul – he suggests they visit when it’s not so hot. She and Daniel agree to be honest with one another. Where’s Lucy? With her new best friend.
Faith can’t ‘do something fun’ with Lucy tonight – she’s meeting friends at a party at the club’s pool. That sounds amazing – can I come with you? Lucy puts her new BFF on the spot.
Audra confides in Sally – Victor’s the mystery investor. She can handle Kyle. Sally worries she and/or Adam will get in the crossfire. Audra’s not scared – she’ll be the one who ends up on top.
Kyle comes home to ask Claire if her passport’s up to date. He wants her and Harrison to come to Paris with him.
Claire’s not a threat, Phyllis repeats – Audra is. How are we gonna get rid of her?
