Are you ordering your usual? Sally asks Billy (much to Adam’s surprise) They’ve run into one another, here, at Society. She and Billy compete for most supportive partner while Chelsea focuses on her menu but looks up when Adam says ‘You do what you have to do when your kid’s hurting’.

When Harrison introduces Claire to his cousins, Vikki explains that she’s Johnny and Katie’s sister. Wow, you’re so lucky, Harrison chirps. When the boys go to dig up worms, Claire invites Katie to join them. She’d rather stay with her Mom and sulk.

Jill means a lot to me, Lily feels guilty – she took a huge chance on me; handing me her company. Billy and Chance can carry on her legacy, Devon begins to realize that she can’t walk away from CW.

The two awkward couples discuss Connor. Sally hopes Adam and Chelsea found ways to distract themselves from the waiting/worrying. We got blind drunk last night, that helped, Adam quips. We had a few drinks and called it a night, Chelsea excuses herself to answer a call from the facility. Sally and Billy exchange awkward looks.

Connor was released from inpatient and is back in his room. He’s doing really well; the doctors think he’s turning a corner. The longer Adam and Chelsea hug, the more uncomfortable Sally and Billy look.

Proud to hear how well Katie’s doing in Spanish and ballet, Vikki asks if she’d like to go to Chicago one might soon. Just you and me? Katie thought her Mom would be too busy with her first daughter (who can be heard having fun with the boys) Johnny comes over offering to buy ice cream, but rescinds Katie’s offer because she’s such a ‘grump’ – what’s wrong with you?

Over lunch, Sally and Billy are happy for Connor’s parents. Chelsea and Adam’s phones go off – Connor wants to videochat! With quick goodbye kisses, they rush off to his place. Dancing around the elephant in the room, Sally and Billy are left to agree that this experience has really bonded Adam and Chelsea.

Devon and Lily continue to bicker. Of course he wants her to be an equal partner. She reminds of their past issues. He’s persistent, then annoyed – then astounded that Lily seems to be choosing working with her power-hungry ex over their family business; Neil’s legacy.

Devon’s disappointed. He agreed to pull the trigger on separating the companies because Lily said she’d leave CW. She doesn’t want to let Devon (or Neil) down but has to do what’s right for her; she isn’t sure they can work well together. Lily needs time. Devon hopes she makes the right decision. So does she. As she leaves,Nate appears – where do things stand with Lily? Devon wishes he knew.

Chelsea wastes little time blasting Adam for blabbing that they got drunk. It was a one time thing, a mistake. It was about solace, comfort – we were overwhelmed, the pair agree. The truth will only hurt them, Adam convinces Chelsea not to confess. On videochat, Connor tells them that he took control of his OCD. It’s gotten weaker and weaker. He has something else to say – it might scare you but it’s important for you to hear.

When Lily arrives at Society, Sally leaves her and Billy to discuss business. He hasn’t talked to Jill – she’s in another round of treatment, but he’s sure she’ll be fine with the separation once she hears what we have in mind for the company. Billy has faith in what he and Lily can do together – he won’t doubt her anymore if she just tells him she’s in.

Did you put him up to this? Katie snarls at Claire when Harrison runs over with flowers. No, Claire thought he picked them for summer. Harrison tells Katie that he was sad for a while but Claire’s fun – maybe we can have fun together. Agreeing to go get ice cream after all, Katie runs back to link Claire’s arm – come on. Vikki smiles proudly.

Connor admits that he sometimes let his OCD take over but now wants to fight for himself the way his parents have fought for him. He doesn’t want to hurt himself anymore. The doctors think I’ve turned a corner. Adam and Chelsea hold hands and hold tears back. We’re so proud of you, they grin at one another.

Devon tells Nate that he gave it his best pitch but Lily won’t commit. If she wants to stay at Chancellor that’s something we have to respect. The new Winters company might not have Lily Winters, he sighs.

Are you in or out? Billy presses. Lily’s in and ready to move forward. We’ll make an announcement – Lily Winters and Billy Abbott, a force to be reckoned with. You won’t regret this, he promises – trust me.
