We do this tonight, Ashley’s firm – I’ll make coffee. That leaves Traci to ask Alan what’s going on. He wonders if Ashley’s blackouts started earlier than first thought. Why would Ashley have a blackout THAT night? What could have shaken her up that much?
Audra confirms to Sally that she and Tucker are done. She’s the one who’s been meeting with the CEO’s – I’m the one they know and listen to. What if Tucker finds out? He already knows and is coming after me with everything he’s got.
As the staffer types on her laptop, Tucker mentions running into someone he knows who didn’t seem to recognize him. Going out for a walk to clear his head, he runs into Audra on the elevator. She blasts him for checking into the hotel she’s staying at – are you going to keep tabs on me the rest of my life? You’re the one injecting yourself into MY orbit, he points out – and you have no rights at Glacade. You’re making a fool of yourself. Yeah, but Audra knows all Tucker’s dirty laundry – and how will the CEO’s feel when they learn you plan to sell off their companies. I know your plans because I wrote the damn prospectus. Tucker stops the elevator – what will it take for you to back off?
Victor ends a business call when Nick stops by the ranch. Mom’s at an outpatient session. Nick’s worried about how she took the news that Jordan’s alive. She knows she’s put away for good. The facility’s like Fort Knox, Victor’s more worried about Adam and Connor. He’s made great progress but this could lead him back into darkness, Victor fears.
Tucker wants to make this as painless for Audra as possible – want me to buy you out? He’ll make a fair offer. She wants to win and for him to lose. Then you’ll walk away with nothing, he assures. This isn’t about revenge – that’s your game, your weakness; Audra wants Glacade; she wants it ALL.
Ashley remembers Tucker leaving the Bistro – she wasn’t afraid so something must have happened after that. Are you ready to do this right now? Traci asks. Yes, I’m me, and closer than ever to finding answers, Ashley’s confident. Alan seems to be hiding something.
At Society, Sally tells Chloe that she hates the way things ended last time they talked. She’ll find a way to bring Chloe into Marchetti. I need you and I miss you. How can I do this job without my best partner/best friend? It’s just a job – good friends are forever ~hug~
Nick thinks his Dad’s wrong – this won’t break Adam, it’ll make him stronger. He credits Sally for the change in Adam – they’re good for each other. Victor disagrees but is pleased that his sons are getting along. If we stand together as a family, we can conquer anything.
Still in the elevator, Audra’s determined to take over Glacade – she’s not intimidated and will win for one simple reason – I want it more than you (Tucker) Glacade was your consolation prize – for Ashley. Tucker still loves Audra despite all this. For Audra it’s just about the company. If you were a decent ex, you’d let me have it and go back to your obsession with Ashley. She clearly needs you more than I ever will! she stomps off the elevator.
This is the 5th bar we’ve been to – do you want to call it a night? Traci asks. No – this is it – we sat right over there, Ashley flashes back – I was wearing the same outfit so it was after the Bistro. I told you (Alan) about Tucker’s ultimatum – you were indignant on my behalf and supported my decision. You had another glass of wine… and then it’s a blank. Alan asks the sisters to sit down – there’s something we need to discuss.
Chloe doubts Summer will rehire her – I burned that bridge. Sally torpedoed that bridge. We’re a team – we’ll convince Summer that it’s a good move to hire us both. Chloe’s all in. Sally sends Summer a text – wanting to run something by her.
Tucker knocks on door 33 then leaves a voicemail for Ashley. I know you’re in Paris. So am I. As luck would have it, I ran into Alan – he had no recognition of me. Tucker hopes Ashley finds what she’s looking for.
Ashley knows she called Alan – and you joined me for wine. Alan wasn’t even in the country. Ashley and Traci are becoming annoyed with his vagueness – we put our trust in you – please don’t hold anything back from us. The truth is, Alan’s never been in this bar before in his life.
