Jack tells Tucker that Alan believes something happened to Ashley after their fight in Paris. Tucker wishes her the best and will try not to run into her while he’s there. Jack doesn’t like that one bit.
Insisting that his trip to Paris was already planned, Tucker tells Jack that he’s partly to blame for Ashley not getting the help she needed sooner. He’d love nothing more than for Ashley to get well and be herself again – do you? Tucker leaves Jack to fume – we can’t get that bastard out of our life; seeing him in Paris would trigger Ashley.
Back at CL’s, Summer tells Chelsea all about why Claire came to GC. She poisoned my family. They’ve forgiven her but how can Summer let Claire look after her kid? She struggles to see Claire as a victim. Chelsea understands – but if the Newmans trust her, maybe one day you can too.
On paper, I shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a kid, Claire understands why Summer doesn’t trust her. Kyle gets a text – Summer’s on her way over to talk.
Sex out of the way, Adam suddenly asks Sally to move in with him.
Summer’s surprised but happily so to find Claire at the house. She has questions before making her decision. what would Claire do in the event of an emergency. Does she have First Aid training? Claire talks about limiting screen time in favour of art/music. She understands the trauma Harrison’s been through (and has done research on his bio Mom and the man he thought was his father) Harrison’s resilience is a testament to your love.
On the patio, Sharon asks Chelsea how it’s going. Rocky, and she fears it’s going to get rockier.
Sally’s not shocked, just surprised. We don’t have to talk about this tonight. You could move in while I’m gone, Adam persists. This is a big decision; a huge step – she needs to think about it.
Yes, Chelsea’s happy about seeing Connor but also terrified. She misses Billy, her touchstone. Sharon’s supportive and not surprised to hear that Adam’s been open and compassionate. He can rise to the occasion when you need it the most.
As Sally snoozes, a troubled Adam gets out of bed.
Claire feels that she and Harrison have bonded – she did some research so she could best serve his needs. Praised as being loving parents, Summer chuckles – you don’t have to lay it on so thick (but Claire’s words are getting through)
Tucker gets a video call from Audra – what part of ‘I’m done with you’ don’t you understand? she complains – are you keeping tabs on me? No, Tucker denies it – and what part of ‘all or nothing’ don’t you understand? You walked away from me – you walked away from Glacade. Audra’s done with Tucker, not Glacade. Yeah. that’s not the way things work.
Audra won’t be stalked – tell whoever’s following me to back off. Tucker explains the call he got from a Glacade employee. No, he doesn’t control Audra but he does control Glacade. There’ll be no more meetings because you have nothing to do with Glacade. We’ll see about that, Audra challenges.
It hurts Summer’s heart to see Harrison worry about Claire – maybe this is the answer. Claire’s offered the job on a trial basis. When Harrison comes down, Kyle gives him the good news. Yayyyy!! Harrison hugs his new nanny. Jack then comes home to congratulate and welcome Claire. Summer’s smile doesn’t quite reach her eyes.
In the living room, Adam prays aloud – please help my son and Chelsea get to the other side of this. Please. Sally eavesdrops from the staircase.
