After Ester serves them their boring coffees, Kyle asks Claire to join him. He mentions some office drama – nothing that won’t be solved sooner rather that later.
Pleased that she and Summer are on the same page, Phyllis whines about Daniel being ‘unhinged’ – she’s worried. Of course she quit her job at CW. What will she do now? Order champagne.
Nick comes back to report that he was unable to find Victor (who’s apparently still on the property) Do you think he’s keeping a secret? Cole asks. Absolutely, Nick replies without hesitation.
After Victor takes a seat in his leather chair, Jordan sinks to her knees to beg for her freedom. Get up! Victor shouts. You’re a pathetic creature! You’re not in control, he barks.
Cole’s suspicious of Victor for two reasons – his insistence that everyone stay away from the Abbotts and his story about Jordan’s death doesn’t quite fit. Cole needs to protect Vikki and Claire til her body’s found (which Victor doesn’t seem to care about; and neither does Nick)
Look at you, so smug, Jordan talks about the compassionate Nikki saving her life (which she sees as weakness) Everyone thinks your body’s in Lake Michigan, Victor leaves Jordan a bottle of cheap vodka and reaches through the bars to throttle her for a few seconds. I’m sorry! Jordan wails as he exits.
