Vikki stomps into the ranch to tell Cole all about Summer treating Claire badly. When Victor returns from (supposedly) feeding his horse, Cole and Vikki ask him to have a talk with Summer. No, Victor doesn’t want Claire to be subjected to the ‘toxicity’ of the Abbott household.

Harrison being kidnapped, this mess with Ashley, and (Diane stops short of mentioning the friction with Kyle)…. it’s all too much for Diane. She tells Jack that she must get to the office.

Declaring Jack a fool and Diane an opportunist, Victor firmly informs Cole and Vikki that he doesn’t want anyone in their family to be involved with the Abbotts.

Kyle sees nothing wrong with Claire feeding the ducks with Harrison – they were barely out of sight. He and Claire have a bond. Summer asked just one thing, just one day ago – keep Claire away from Harrison. You should have said ‘hi’ and moved on. And what did Vikki say before she left???

Kyle tells Summer that she’s overreacting. And you’re making unilateral decisions and ignore my boundaries!? Summer’s barking is interrupted when Phyllis returns with Harrison. When Kyle suggests they go home for grilled cheese, Summer invites herself to the house – just in case Claire decides to visit.

Victor has his own ideas for Claire’s future – her intelligence and skills would be best utilized as Vikki’s assistant at Newman. Vikki’s not sure if/when she’s going back to work.

Phyllis sashays over to Diane’s table on the CL’s patio in hopes that they’re on the same page regarding Claire and Harrison. Her attachment to Harrison is ‘weird’ – and she just got out of the psych ward.

Not going back to work!? Victor’s incredulous – Vikki should ‘damn well’ get back to Newman, with Claire as her assistant. What the hell kind of job is being a ‘nanny’ anyway? He also doesn’t want Claire around Jack. Why? ‘Because I say so’ – that SOB almost ruined your Mother’s life. Vikki wonders if her father’s planning revenge.

Jack briefly perks up when Harrison runs in but fades after Summer takes him to the kitchen for grilled cheese. Kyle sympathizes with his Dad- you almost died last night. If there’s trouble between you and Mom, you can talk to me.

Diane accuses Phyllis of stirring up trouble. Maybe Claire’s NOT a threat to Harrison. Give her the benefit of the doubt. This girl could be a psycho, Phyllis warns. We’ve both been viewed as psychos, Diane thinks this finger pointing isn’t a good look for either of them.

Phyllis empathizes with Claire and told Summer not to judge her. But – this girl tried to kill her family; she’s a wild card. She was brainwashed, Diane reminds. Kyle wants to hire Claire as Harrison’s nanny and she was with them at the park; despite Summer’s reasonable request, Phyllis persists – we should intervene. No, Diane won’t be telling Jack about this (which leaves Phyllis suspicious)

Kyle understands why his Dad did what he did. Mom’s broken up about what could have happened. Jack regrets hurting her but something else is troubling Diane. Kyle admits that she’s not grateful when he corrects her mistakes at work. She’s not making mistakes, Jack has to wonder if Kyle’s still salty about his Mom getting the co-CEO job.

What if Jack starts popping pills again? Victor doesn’t want Claire anywhere near him. When he marches out, Vikki and Cole are puzzled. She’s sure he’s planning something; he doesn’t want us anywhere near the Abbotts when it happens.

In her cell, Jordan shouts – Victor! Tell me what you want and let me out of here!

Next Week: How do you know when it’s finally time to cut and run? Sally asks Audra … Alan tells Traci it’s worse than he thought – that Ashley definitely has multiple personalities and the one he was just with is very concerning….Lily’s been very loyal to Jill but this is a complete betrayal; we have to respond accordingly. She’s going to explode, Nate adds. Devon doesn’t care – she dropped a bomb on us and we’re going to return the favour.
