When everyone arrives, Lily points out that Billy’s not there. This is for family (which includes Abby) Jill and Billy are driving a wedge – Maime wants to fix things.
At the bar, Tucker introduces himself to Alan. Ashley proudly announces that he’s a brilliant psychologist. Though Alan claims the be there as a friend, Tucker thinks his timing couldn’t be better.
No surprise, Maime wants to kick Billy and Jill out of the company. Nate and Lily are in agreement that Maime’s the only one who wants to go to war and is willing to bring the whole company down to do it.
Aundra now comes over to meet Alan, the brilliant psychologist. Looks like Ashley’s in good hands, she leads Tucker away. Now, where were we? Ashley beams at Alan.
You’re undermining everything I’ve worked to build up, Lily complains. Yes YOU – Jill’s riding on YOUR coattails, Maime adds. She owns half the company, Lily reminds. Yes, Devon has issues with Billy and Jill but that all started when Maime came – with all due respect, the problem might be you.
In their suite, Audra and Tucker continue to discuss Ashley. She seems ‘chipper’, ready to devour that poor guy. There’ll be more than therapy between those two. Tucker looks annoyed/jealous.
Maime’s heartbroken that her family would treat her this way. When they politely point out that all problems lead back to her, Maime lets her overly entitled, under-experienced family know exactly how disappointed she is in their cowardice.
Tucker’s sorry Audra had to find him with Ashley yet again. He has a surprise her.
Ashley makes light of everyone being concerned about her mental state. She has no unresolved feelings about Tucker – he’s where he belongs and so am I (she walks her fingers across the table to take Alan’s arm)
Yes, Ashley wants Alan to stay – hasn’t she been clear as a bell? He’ll have a colleague go to Vienna in his place – he’d love to spend more time with Ashley.
Audra wants to go to other places in Europe besides Paris. Yes – wherever she wants. This trip will be so good for us – one thing though – no proposal. That ring will never be on my finger.
