Victor shouts at Nikki – you’re drunk right now – go see your savior Jack! You brought Jordan into our lives! He wags his finger. Vikki and Nick appear to pile on – you’re sorry!? they sneer.
As Jack watches from the bar, Alan wants to spend more time with Ashley but is too tired to go for drinks in the jazz lounge. He agrees to breakfast and an escort back to his room. Following Alan out, Ashley pauses to wave at Jack.
Still on the patio, Billy wants his Mom’s legacy to be represented. Devon respects Jill, Abby feels that Billy’s being too harsh with Devon. He thinks YOU’RE the one who wants ‘complete autonomy’. Billy thinks it’s too late to hug it out.
In the lounge, Devon tries to convince Nate that Billy’s using his vulnerable sister against him. No, he’s not overreacting or paranoid. Pausing to look up at Neil’s portrait, Nate has a change of heart – we have to get Abbott out of the company. On cue, Chance appears.
Chance assumes he wasn’t supposed to hear that. HIS loyalty lies with Chancellor Winters. Nate agrees – we have to work as a united front.
It sounds to Abby like Billy wants Devon out – would you actually do that???
I may never see Claire again because of YOU! Vikki snarls – it’s no her fault you’re a drunk; it’s who you’ve always been! Nick blames his Mom for what Jordan put Summer and Harrison through. You’re a drunk! As Nikki begs for mercy, Victor rants and raves about Jack. You disgust me – you reap what you sow. I can’t stand looking at you! Nikki jolts awake.
Alan resists Ashley’s flirtations and manages to get into his suite alone. As soon as she exits, Jack knocks on Alan’s door – how does my sister seem to you??
Alan admits there’s a different ‘dynamic’ – Ashley’s bubbly and flirtatious, completely out of character but that could be due to the breakup. Terrified for his sister, Jack now has hope. Alan will do his best.
‘Belle’ comes home to pour herself a Scotch. Her ankle handcuffed to a chair, Ashley blames ‘Belle’ for failing the psych exam.
No! Nikki stops the angry voices in her head and grabs her shoes and purse (managing to knock a lamp over in the process)
Nate and Chance tell Devon that he can count on them – both want what’s best for CW. Devon’s bottom line; Billy doesn’t belong at the company. Chance can tell him if he wants (though he already know how I feel)
You want to take Devon’s legacy away from him? From my son? Abby bleats. Billy just wants a bit more room at the table. Abby wishes she could believe that but doesn’t.
Grateful for Alan’s help, Jack leaves hoping Ashley doesn’t do another disappearing act, or worse.
Belle might just jump on a plane with the handsome doctor. They won’t commit me because I couldn’t remember one silly story. He was evaluating you, Ashley tells the dimwit. Dating the doctor isn’t a plan. It’s over. Seconds later, Belle and her orange hair band are gone. I’m the only one who knows how to get things done, the dominant Ashley is back in control.
Running into Jack in the hallway, Nikki races back to her room and tries to close the door. Go away! Jack’s half way in – don’t make me do this!
