When Victor threatens to tell Jordan that her ‘paid punk’ ratted him out, Dave relays more info. Victor, Jack and Kyle step away for a hushed meeting.
Devon votes with Abby and his sister – we fight the lawsuit. After the meeting breaks up, Billy follows Lily out to thank her for not urging the board to oust him. Surely her vote against Nate means that she’s considering his idea that they run CW together.
Devon didn’t know what to do with himself when you voted against Nate, Billy wants to turn CW into a powerhouse. Lily won’t betray her family – she’s just not convinced. So, that means you CAN be convinced, Billy concludes and strides away.
Jack, Victor and Kyle encourage Dave to take their 100K and leave town – or end up as ‘roadkill’ (like the last person who crossed Jordan)
Jill asks Abby and Devon how Lily’s dealing with the break up. Fine, her decision is solely based on what she feels is best for CW – we should trust her on that. After Jill signs off, Abby tells Devon to drop the act – Lily’s vote threw you for a loop.
At CL’s, Lily updates Maime on the vote for Nate to join CW’s board – and that she was the one to veto it.
Yes, Nate’s doing a good job but hasn’t earned his seat on the board back yet. Jill’s coming after us, Maime warns – she wonders if the break up with Daniel is distracting Lily. You did NOT just say that, Lily’s NOT impressed.
Pouring tea, Cole understands why Vikki’s overwhelmed with the thought of losing their daughter again. I’m not going anywhere (he seems to repulse more than reassure her)
Keep me informed, Victor ends a call to update Jack and Kyle that his security’s at the diner Dave told them about. Kyle will go to where the truck was abandoned. Victor doesn’t believe Jordan’s shown her hand yet – she likes theatrics. This time, we pull the curtain down on her.
Keep me updated! Victor doesn’t want to hear any ‘nonsense’ ~click~ We’ll get this woman, he vows. Nikki arrives but in less than a minute follows Kyle out. She’ll tell Victor about it later.
Back at CW, Devon admits (to Abby) that he was surprised by Lily voting against him/Nate. He’s not buying the ‘loyalty issue’. Lily has a soft spot for Billy, and he’s ‘working her’.
Maime agrees that Lily’s doing a good job running CW – have you thought any more about dividing the companies? No, merging them was Lily’s vision. Maime doesn’t want Jill, Billy and Chance to get in the way of their family legacy. Pay attention before it’s too late – you can’t trust Billy, she warns – the sooner you realize that the better. Maybe I shouldn’t trust YOU, Lily fires back.
Nikki’s in the alleyway uttering to herself – come and get me Jordan, this is what we’ve both been waiting for.
My Thoughts: Odd that CW’s board meeting isn’t being held in a boardroom – where, presumably, there are chairs so that everyone who’s not Lily can sit down. Perhaps they’d even have coffee and snacks… If Dave doesn’t know how rich the Newmans and Abbotts are, perhaps he should take in his surroundings. A man who lives in a sprawling ranch guarded by 24/7 security can probably certainly afford to pay more than 100K for info that might lead to the safe return of their loved ones. How can Dave be expected to leave his job and home for a measly 100K?.. I wonder what ‘all that nonsense’ was that annoyed Victor so much? Was the head of security reading him the diner’s menu? …. Mamie has some nerve. If she’s so hell bent on preserving her family’s legacy, perhaps she should join the board and start doing some work herself instead of telling everyone else how to run the company she knows nothing about. And what is the Neil Winters Foundation if not a family legacy???
