Kyle comes home to update Summer that Claire texted him again – Victor, Jack and Mike are putting together a new life for Jordan. Once she’s in France, she’ll reveal Harrison’s location. Demanding Claire’s number, Summer wants to offer herself up as a hostage instead of Harrison.
Connor should be going to the movies with his friends – it’s not fair, it’s too much, Adam feels a weight on his chest. Sharon’s alarmed when he talks about the demon in his own mind.
Summer’s doing this – I don’t care what happens to me. It won’t work – Kyle already tried to trade places with Harrison. He got a text back immediately – no chance. Summer worries they may have already ….
Back at the ranch, Victor barks into his phone – I don’t pay you to fail! Mike suspects Jordan’s only turning the phone on every now and then so it can’t be traced. If she hurts a hair on Harrison’s head… Jack’s livid. That bitch will pay, Victor promises.
Agreeing that Jordan’s responsible, and that Claire’s in as much danger as Harrison, Nikki blames herself (for letting Jordan live and using the anniversary party as a trap) I must be the one to save them and put an end to Jordan, she tells Vikki.
Summer can’t be sure Harrison’s OK – why haven’t they sent us a photo? If Claire was innocent and cared about him she’d turn the tables on Jordan. When Chance shows up, Summer sends Kyle ahead to the ranch – I’ll meet you there. She tells Chance that she’s scared she’ll never see her son again.
None of it feels real, Adam continues to blame himself. Why didn’t I notice when Connor’s behavior changed? How can I forgive myself? Sharon’s supportive – all we can do is our best; our kids need us.
When Kyle gets to the ranch, Mike updates that Claire’s phone must be off. Summer’s back at the house with Chance, Kyle’s OK bearing the brunt of her anger if it helps her cope. You’re a good man, Victor praises him. His plan? To stay one step ahead of whatever Jordan’s planning.
The experts are only just now learning about OCD; it’s not your fault, Sharon absolves Adam of blame. Give yourself credit for doing the right thing by getting Connor the help he needs. Don’t distrust what the doctors say because you don’t like it.
Meanwhile, at the Abbott house, Chance is so sorry, he had no idea. He hugs Summer – we’ll get Harrison back. She worries what her grandfather and Jack have planned.
Jack’s got the funds ready to be transferred to an offshore account. Kyle thanks his Dad – I’ll find a way to repay you. Jack explains that they can’t give Jordan everything she wants. If they lose their leverage, she’ll cover her tracks and disappear.
We have to trust Dad and the authorities, Vikki tells her Mom. This is personal for Nikki – I have to be the one to do something.
Not engaging when Summer rants about Claire, Chance will check in with his friends on the force. Though doubting Victor will want his input, he agrees to go with her to the ranch.
Mike has a team looking at camera footage in the area. Victor doesn’t believe Claire’s helping Jordan but is sure he can make her accomplices cooperate (once found) Everyone has their price.
Vikki doesn’t like where this is going. Jordan hates me, I’m her end-game, Nikki won’t ask Victor’s permission (this time) to offer herself up as bait.
Next Week: Is it OK if I ask you a question? Danny asks. Yes, of course. What are you trying hard not to talk about? … In the jazz lounge, Ashley asks in a southern drawl; You can make a girl happy with a shot of Tequila and don’t you forget that teeny-weeney slice of lime…. Jack assumes Jordan will reach out to Kyle soon – how will we string her along if she starts making demands? She loves theatrics, Victor plans to pull the damn curtain down once and for all this time …. Come on, Nikki waits patiently in an alleyway. I’m right where you want me. She gasps and whips around when hearing a noise.
