Nikki’s husband and daughter adamantly oppose her plan to use herself as bait to lure Jordan out of hiding.
Nikki balks at the notion that she’s supposed to just let Jordan keep taunting her. Don’t answer the damn phone (next time she calls) Victor snaps. Nikki credits Lauren and Jack with keeping her from drinking. She needs something to focus on – a goal. Jordan almost killed you, Victor reminds. When her phone rings on cue, Nikki refuses to give it to Victor. I will handle it.
Mom, Dad and I are going to Society for dinner, Kyle informs. Though all invite Ashley to come along, she declines. Go eat, drink and be merry – bring me back some cheesecake, she requests.
Tucker suggests a trip to Europe. We can check on Glacade’s board of directors in Paris and the companies we’re hoping to scoop up. No, Ashley hasn’t soured him on the city – everything seems new with Audra. She takes this as proof that Tucker’s got Ashley out of his system. We’re unstoppable, they agree ~kiss~
Now dressed, Tucker’s full of optimism, for the first time in months and gushes about his best friend in the world. My future’s so bright, I have to squint. Look out world, there’s a new power couple in town, he shouts as they exit the suite.
Hesitating briefly, Jack follows Kyle and Diane out. Telling the voices in her head to ‘shut up!’ Ashleu gabs her purse and runs out of the house.
Nikki can’t ignore Seth’s call – maybe he’s reaching out for help. Victor and Vikki disapprove in the background as Seth does indeed ask Nikki for help. He hopes she can do for him what he couldn’t do for her (Jordan returns with more beer)
As Jordan listens, Seth tells Nikki that he feels guilty for letting her down. He’s at a bar but hasn’t started drinking (yet). Coffee at CL’s? It’d be my honour, he’s on his way. Vikki’s impressed with her Mom’s compassion but Victor can’t allow Nikki to leave the safety of the ranch. It’s coffee, Nikki’s unconcerned.
Over drinks in the dining room, Audra and Tucker discuss their trip to Europe. Do we relocate Glacade to GC or do we relocate to Paris? Audra will go wherever he is. Opening herself up is scary. For a couple of risk takers we’ve been cowardly, Tucker quips. No, this isn’t ‘too good to be true’. He wants to stay in GC – not for Ashley – for Devon and Dom. Yes, the disconnect hurts him.
