Phyllis thanks Nick for forgiving her. He’d like to let go of how he felt about her faking her death and what it did to Summer.
Summer entertains Chance with a story about the adorable but naughty Harrison. Chance He talks about a kid having a tantrum over a set of drums. Perhaps this is payback for everything we put our parents through, Summer looks over at the bar.
Nick goes over Phyllis’ lies – her death – framing Diane – thinking he’d never see her again. Phyllis will regret her actions for the rest of her life but will always be grateful that Nick was there for Summer. If she and Daniel can forgive Phyllis, he feels he can too. Nick believes both she and Adam are trying to better themselves. Phyllis then asks him about Sally.
Summer tells Chance that she and Kyle are civil for Harrison’s sake. She’s concerned that Kyle’s making mistakes (like Audra) Chance hopes he’s not crossing the line – do you regret you marriage not working out? No, Summer just hopes to have learned. Chance likes the way she thinks.
Tucker swears he didn’t bribe or threaten the wait staff in Paris. They told the truth. As he’s telling Ashley that she needs help, Audra appears – after waking up alone, she’s surprised to find Tucker with the woman who put him through hell.
Oh, so this is why we couldn’t talk in your room, Ashley’s not shocked that Tucker and Audra are hooking up. You dumped me, Tucker reminds. He’s your problem, good luck with that – were you sleeping with Kyle while sleeping with Kyle? Classy – you two deserve each other, she exits.
Summer asks about Chance’s relationship with Abby. It hurt being betrayed but he’s learned too – the heart what it wants. There’s no point in regret. Summer likes the way he thinks too (she clasp hands)
Nick cared and still cares about Sally. What ended it? She chose Adam over you? Phyllis thinks them perfect for each other. She confides that she’s found peace with a certain someone. Nick guesses it’s Danny. He’s surprised given their history but hopes it works out.
Summer and Chance come over to say goodnight. You two are adorable, Phyllis gushes (to Nick’s chagrin/amusement) As the kids kiss at the front door, Phyllis hopes Nick’s as happy for them as she is. He is and is proud of Summer (but will never be OK seeing her kiss a man) Here’s to us finally finding our happy places, Phyllis clinks his glass.
Ashley’s further gone than we realized, Tucker tells Audra that she refuses to believe the wait staff in Paris – something’s really wrong with her. Audra doesn’t care – how did you end up at the bar with your ex wife? No, Tucker didn’t just bump into Ashley – he wanted to tell her that he’s moving on. How did she react? Not well – she’s threatened to keep Devon and Dom out of my life; Tucker will be damned if he lets that happen. Of course he’d have told Ashley about them – she’s old news, your my future, he and Audra clink glasses and drink.
Ashley comes home to once again relive what she believes transpired in Paris. Traci’s relieved that her sister’s home – are you OK? Ashley trembles; I don’t know what’s happening to me, she looks terrified.
