Still on the patio, Chris swears that hatred for Phyllis isn’t motivating her. She came to see Danny because she needed to know that their reconnection was real for him too. Of course it was, Danny assures. Chris is hurt that Danny doesn’t see that Phyllis is coming between them. That woman’s a walking apocalypse. On cue, Phyllis appears in the background.
