Tucker looks over – then smirks at Audra – Nate’s trying so hard not to look over at you. He’s at attractive man – maybe I like looking at him. When Audra claims she’s sleeping with Nate, Tucker scoffs – if true, it’s only a means to an end. On his way out, Tucker pauses at Devon and Nate’s table ‘gentlemen’ (both ignore him)
Nick stands in the patio doorway to watch Sharon conducting an online meeting with her team. Wow – you’re amazing, he praises her,
Jack doesn’t want to talk about Nikki or Victor – he prefers champagne with his wife (no argument from Diane)
At Society, Victor scolds Nikki for telling Jack about her abduction and drinking. He likes to keep problems within the family. Jack can’t be trusted. Don’t make it into more than it is, Nikki chides him.
Nick admires Sharon’s drive and energy and the way she handled her sales team. Sharon appreciates his kind words. Now, what’s going on with you? Nick declares himself boring. OK – what’s going on with Nikki? Sharon asks.
Everything about Tucker is a lie. Nate agrees – he covers one lie with another. Maybe he’ll go run Glacade from Paris. Doubting Tucker will let himself be run out of town, Devon makes a vague comparison between Tucker and Nate. The difference is, you made amends and learned from your mistakes) After Devon leaves, Nate looks over at Audra.
Arriving at the jazz lounge, Jack and Diane decide to ignore Tucker (who wastes no time mentioning that Ashley’s gone to Paris) That’s none of your business – but how do you know that?? Jack asks.
Nate joins Audra to ask what Tucker was saying. She has to get back in his good graces again. I know exactly what I’m doing. It’s my time to win.
Tucker makes it his business to know things. Ashley’s returned to the scene of the crime, where he’s sure she’ll learn that everything happened in Paris exactly as he said. No – she’ll come back to purge you from her heart forever, Jack warns that even Tucker’s delusions won’t keep him warm.
On the patio, Nick confides in Sharon that his Mom’s not as strong as she appears. Sharon has faith in Nikki – she’s beat this before and will again.
Back at Society, Victor won’t second guess Nikki’s decision to fire Audra. Nikki’s got it all under control. Victor gets a call. The prison where Jordan’s being kept is on fire. No word on casualties or survivors. Just business, nothing to worry about, he lies to Nikki.
