At the ranch, Vikki flashes back to her and Cole supporting Claire as they walked her out of the prison’s visiting room. Victor can relate to how scared she is; a parent never stops worrying.
Still on the patio, Nikki shares her suspicion with Lauren that Seth’s drinking again – and it’s all my fault.
Chris turns and leaves before Danny pulls away from Phyllis gasping for air – he can’t follow her down this path.
Phyllis wants to explore what comes next. There is no next, Danny’s not interested. That kiss says otherwise to Phyllis. I’ve changed, she insists. He wanted to believe it, but, posting that video proves she hasn’t – at all.
Claire slept on the plane ride home and is now back at Memorial. Vikki doesn’t know what happened between her and Jordan. Claire needs to know that she’s worthy and lovable. Likening the situation to him and Adam, Victor warns that Claire seeing Jordan may have reawakened her loyalty to that terrible woman.
Continuing to chat, Nikki’s convinced that Seth’s drinking again. Lauren thinks her guilt misdirected – how can I help? Jack appears to greet two of his favourite people. Am I interrupting? he’s puzzled.
When Nikki not-so-discreetly manages to escape Lauren, Jack’s left to ask if she’s OK.
Vikki asks her Dad not to hold a grudge against Claire. It’s new territory for all of us. Victor asks how it is to have Cole in her life again after all these years.
You didn’t push me away, Phyllis persists. Forget the kiss, Danny’s pissed off about the video. She laughs – you’re a rock star. Is this about your precious Christine? Vowing NEVER to reconcile with Phyllis, Danny storms off.
Back upstairs, at the bar, Chris watches the video again and texts Nina.
