At the bar, Jack and Diane chat with Billy and Chelsea and Abby and Devon (who can’t provide any input on Tucker) When all walk off, Chelsea reassures Jack that Billy’s doing well at CW – leaving Jabot’s been good for him.

Summer’s surprised to find Chance reading up on CW at CL’s – shouldn’t you be at Sharon’s launch party?

Phyllis joins Chris at the bar. No drama – she wants to apologize.

Phyllis credits Summer with helping her realize that she was falling into her old ways. She promised her kids and Danny that she’d change. Chris isn’t buying it. Phyllis sees that as a challenge. Chris puts it to her immediately – she and Danny are going away for a weekend. Danny planned the whole thing – he didn’t tell you?

Chance finally tells Summer that he and Sharon broke up.

Adam’s on top of the world right now, Nick admits to Sharon that Sally’s influence might make his brother behave. Across the room, Adam tells Jack that he and Sally are headed in the right direction.

Mariah and Tessa update Devon how well Aria’s doing with her hearing aids. When Abby joins the proud parents club, Tessa asks about Dom’s music class. Devon pretends he’s not disappointed that Tucker’s staying away – it’s what I asked him to do.

No, Sharon wasn’t upset that Summer went to the concert – she just realized that it was time to end things. Yes, it still hurts but Chance wishes her nothing but success.

Punctuated with applause, Sharon’s speech singles out Mariah and Nick. She’s relaunching the company she inherited – from dark places, light can shine. Half of all profits will be donated to charities including Delia’s Foundation, New Hope and The Abbott Winters Foundation. She has one more change to announce to make the relaunch complete – a new name – I give you Cassidy First Technology. Nick chokes up at the display.

Cabins are cold and drafty, Phyllis comments. That’s what blankets are for, Chris rubs it in her face. They then bicker about who hasn’t changed. Thanks for the drink, Chris leaves Phyllis to call Danny – what are you doing right now?

Chance and Summer share a laugh. About to leave, she offers to buy him dinner.

Billy, Jack and Devon thank Sharon on behalf of their charities. She’s pleased to do it. You make us all want to rise to the occasion. Asking for a private work with Devon and Billy, Sharon mentions her dream – would Chancellor Winters be interested in partnering with Cassidy First? Intrigued, they’ll get back to her.

Sharon and Nick have an emotional moment as they stand in front of the Cassidy First placard.

My Thoughts: Saint Christine told a lie – Danny didn’t plan their getaway. She ran out saying she’d plan everything…. Did Mariah really need to give the signal for drinks to ‘go out’? You’re in a basement bar that serves little else and her forbidding the press from doing interviews really takes the ‘free’ out of free press. If all Sharon wants is some photos taken use your phones or scatter some of those disposable wedding cameras on the tables … Why did Sharon and Nick bother taking trips to the East and West coasts if they were only interested in ‘GC’s business elite’? … There’s no way Billy and Devon will be able to work together if Billy tries to ram his ideas down Devon and Lily’s throats. Things can only get worse when Chance and Lily are added to the mix (especially when Lily finds herself cheated on and dumped yet again) …. Chance might have better luck researching CW on a computer – at home … Even if Chelsea and Abby didn’t ride up the elevators together and only walked up the CW hallway together, it seems highly unlikely that their conversation didn’t go ‘Hey – where are you going in all the sequins’? ‘To Sharon’s launch’. ‘Me too!’… What a shame Chloe couldn’t be there to hear that Delia’s Foundation will receive donations. Nice to see Billy’s reaction but I’d rather they panned to Adam. If Sharon didn’t give Nick a heads up that Kirsten would be renamed after the daughter they lost, she sure as hell didn’t notify Adam that there’d be a very public reminder of the little girl he ran over.
