Still at CL’s, Billy flashes back to sharing his suspicions of Kyle with Jack and Ashley. Tucker may have turned your son against us.
When Jack arrives, Billy relays his disturbing talk with Tucker. He was calm and measured – claims he’s started something at Jabot that will take us all down.
Kyle promises his Mom that he’ll be careful. I’ve got this (and I’ve got Audra as an ally) Audra!? Diane sputters. Are you worried I can’t pull it off? Kyle asks. Pull off what? Summer appears to ask.
Summer apologizes for interrupting their serious conversation – what are you trying to pull off? That Kyle’s content with being COO. Since she missed Jack, Diane suggests Summer ‘work here with us today’ and run the Marchetti problem by Kyle (instead of Jack)
He had no ‘tells’; Tucker’s not bluffing, Billy’s convinced that he’s attacking Jabot. Jack’s skeptical about relying on the ‘read’ of a gambling addict who’s lost hundreds and thousands at the poker table. Not true – Billy lost at everything BUT poker. He’s sure that Tucker’s already got someone on the inside (Kyle)
Back at Society, Abby concludes that Tucker won’t be satisfied with one company – he wants to burn down the whole world.
Kyle’s too busy to help Summer with the Marchetti problem – see you later. Summer pouts – he doesn’t want to be in the same room as me. Diane wonders if she’d give the marriage another try. No, Kyle made his choice – Summer just wants to be on friendly terms.
Billy’s still skeptical of Kyle’s sudden change of heart. Jack’s equally sure that his son would never collude with Tucker against the family.
Kyle’s in Tucker’s suite to make sure he didn’t turn the lights off at Jabot to mess up his first day. No. OK, now how do you plan to take advantage of my role as COO. Thought you’d never ask, Tucker replies.
Summer blames herself for setting the divorce in motion. Diane doesn’t trust Audra and worries Kyle’s gotten himself into something he can’t get out of.
If Tucker has my son in his clutches,he’ll find himself in a world of pain he won’t see coming. Billy thinks Ashley’s the only one who can stop Tucker in his tracks.
Unable to manipulate Tucker herself, Ashley knows that Devon is Tucker’s achilles heal. If there’s any real emotion inside of Tucker, YOU’re the only one who can bring it out.
Tucker set the wheels in motion with Billy this morning – letting him think he’s set a bomb inside Jabot. And I’m the bomb? Kyle’s a lot smarter than he looks (no offence) Refusing to give his spy any more info, Tucker just wants to know what Kyle finds out.
