As soon as she walks into the club, Nikki’s not impressed to see Tucker and Audra huddled for a cozy chat as if conspiring.
Tucker gets up to greet Nikki. We’ll talk when I have more information for you, he leaves Nikki to make it very clear that she better not be involved in anything with Tucker.
Billy didn’t OK these funds – we don’t use this lab anymore. Of course, Jack doesn’t believe he’s embezzling but someone’s making it appear so – we have to find out who before they strike again.
In his suite, Tucker has a flashback of forcing Phyllis to hack into Billy and Jabot’s accounts – or he won’t pay her.
Marching in as soon as Tucker opens the door, Phyllis demands payment. You were supposed to transfer the money into Billy’s personal account, not a dormant account, he points out. Phyllis won’t do any more hacking – and, of course, protected herself by installing a trigger that’ll point right to Tucker with just a few keystrokes if he doesn’t pay what he owes her and some more for aggravation.
We’re done, Phyllis tells Tucker that she plans to keep her promise to her kids – she’s disgusted that she helped him. Tucker thinks they’re alike. You can’t change your true nature. You’ll burn through this money that I just transferred to you, Tucker then oversees Phyllis hack in to send money to Billy’s personal account this time. He won’t let her leave yet – we’re not quite finished.
Nick won’t be lured back to Newman. He WILL do what he has to. This isn’t emotional blackmail – this meeting is over, Victor dismisses Nick (who leaves in a huff)
Over lunch, Audra reminds Nikki that she worked for the misunderstood Tucker. He’s a menace, Nikki won’t speculate about what happened between Tucker and Ashley. After being told to end things with Kyle, Audra stands her ground with Nikki (who she won’t let control ‘every facet’ of her life.
In a sickeningly fake polite tone, Nikki’s only warning Audra about Tucker for her own good. He’s been a mentor to me; he’s taught me a lot Is he still ‘teaching’ you? Nikki asks what information Tucker was going to tell Audra later.
Nick joins Chance and Summer at Society. Chance needs to go do a press conference. Thanks for being on my team, he leaves Nick to question Super Girl about their relationship. Summer presses him to hire Mom and drops heavy hints that he should be with Sharon.
When Tucker’s running Jabot, Summer might be out of a job because he wants to focus on cosmetics again. You’re good at the game but I’m better, he knows she won’t go to Jack. If I go down, you go down. Watch your step, he warns – and forget the ‘aggravation’ pay. She silently slams out.
Audra was just giving Tucker feedback on an idea he’s developing – in the music business. Nikki likes that she’s smart and cool under pressure. Audra’s learning so much from her new boss but doesn’t like being controlled. Nikki wants to be her new mentor.
In Jack’s office, Billy would bet his life that Phyllis hacked their accounts for Tucker.
The ‘famous’ Tucker has a video chat with Leanna Love – he has some gossip to pass on about Billy Abbott. LL is all ears.
In the jazz lounge, Phyllis ends a call to confirm that she doesn’t owe the insurance company anything. You look like you just lost your best friend, Danny appears to deliver a cheesy/creepy line.
