At Newman, Victor tells Lily to be patient and trust him. He too was once an anonymous investor.
Staring daggers at Billy (chatting with Devon at Society’s bar) Jack assures Diane that he won’t make a scene – he doesn’t know what Billy’s thinking these days.
Seated in the club’s dining room, Kyle asks Audra if she’s avoiding him. At the revolving door, Nikki wastes little time going over to ask if they’re discussing business or something more intimate.
Of course we’re discussing business. What business? Nikki asks. She wants to talk to Audra privately.
After dismissing Lily, Victor’s interrogated by Vikki (who’s pissed off that her portrait’s been replaced – and other things)
When Jack goes over, Devon leaves him to ask Billy why he went behind his back.
Jack reminds Billy that he doesn’t want to drive a wedge between Devon and Tucker. Billy just told him the truth and reminded him what his father was capable of.
The company’s disjointed, fractured – and yes, Victor does think Vikki’s partly to blame. I have to step in and clean things up! She blames her father for Nick quitting.
Lily’s at Devon to update that Victor refuses to tell her who the investor is. This person approached him so must have a vested interest in CW. She suspects it’s Tucker.
Devon doesn’t think Tucker would go behind his back (again) Lily hopes she’s wrong. Devon reports that Billy and Jack also think Tucker’s dangerous.
Billy doesn’t care if Devon tells Tucker that they’re after him. Jack disapproves of using Devon. Billy has no problem with it.
Kyle flashes back to fun/sexy times with Audra – then deciding to secretly see each other – and then, her giving him the cold shoulder.
Nikki can tell that Kyle’s still attracted to Audra. Yes, but she won’t break the rules. Nikki still thinks it best they let Kyle go.
Nikki doesn’t believe Audra and Kyle have broken up. You’re on thin ice – this is your final warning. She leaves Audra to fire Kyle.
