Kyle joins Audra at the club to report his chat with Vikki – she was fishing for info on you. Since he didn’t know all the details of the cover up, he didn’t have to fake being surprised. I let Vikki think she’d planted a seed of doubt. She’s glad to have me as an ally. The more immediate concern is that Vikki doesn’t fully trust you (Audra)

Nate again apologizes to Vikki for not coming to her right away. I’m not like the others who betrayed your trust. Let’s go away for the weekend – see if we can get past this. It’s worth a try, Vikki hugs him.

Alone with Nikki again, Victor thinks Nick taking Adam’s side is a positive development. He’ll push his sons to get the best out of them.
At CL’s, Nick and Adam tell Sharon what their Dad did to Sally. After all she’s been through, Sharon’s sorry to hear it. Victor’s making moves with our company – he’ll take over NSA Media just to put his in our place. We can’t wait, Adam wants to take the fight to him. You’re kidding me – that’s your answer?! Nick huffs.
This is your response to Dad’s ultimatum?! Nick and Adam butt heads. Sharon thinks maybe they should be preemptive – and it’s not all Adam’s fault. Victor’s pushing his vision of the company, not ours. He almost expects NSA to fail so he can ride in to save the day, Adam and Sharon are on the same page. I need a break, Nick storms out.
Over drinks, Audra knows Vikki’s not her biggest fan. You’re too smart and talented to let go, Kyle’s sure it’ll blow over. Just keep up the good numbers. Teasing Kyle about being Vikki’s new bestie, Audra no longer has Nate as an ally. He’s looking out for himself, it’s what he does, Kyle shrugs it off. He, on the other hand, will always have Audra’s back. You can count on me ~kiss~
Chloe comes back to update her Mom and Sally that Chelsea and Connor will be gone for a while. She’ll be working remotely and asked me to be her second in command at Marchetti. She doesn’t want to leave Sally in the lurch. Take it, Sally’s beginning to think their company wasn’t meant to be.
The office door locked, the clothes come off. And the phone rings – it’s my Dad, Vikki yelps (on Nate’s phone) Have you looked at the Kirsten McCall business plan? he asks. Working not to pant, Nate has indeed and has some thoughts. Please come to the ranch, Victor instructs. I’m on my way, Nate responds. Vikki doesn’t like this.
My Dad’s up to something, Vikki’s sure. He’s pulling you away from me. He wants to replace Adam with you. Smart move but I don’t like it. So, you do forgive me, Nate’s happy. Vikki responds with a kiss.
Nikki guesses correctly that Victor plans to use Nate as a threat to Adam. Not a threat, insurance, Victor doesn’t give a damn if Adam knows it. He’s been pursuing his own interests instead of focusing on the merger. He’ll be more reckless, Nikki thinks this will create more chaos. I know what I’m doing, Victor insists.
Back at CL’s, Adam shares (with Sharon) a fear he can’t shake – he worries Connor’s inherited the darkness he and Chelsea both have inside of them. He doesn’t want his relationship with Connor to ever become like his with Victor.
At Society, Nick tells Sally that he and Adam confronted Dad and that and Sharon want to find a way to break away from Victor’s control. Won’t that make things worse? Sally worries. Nick’s not sure how long he can be the peacekeeper. Something’s going to give soon and God help us when it does.
