Continuing to flip through the photos, Sally encourages Adam to move on – with someone who loves him as much as he deserves to be loved. Adam can’t just turn his feelings off. On cue, Nick bangs so hard the door rattles. Adam, are you in there!?
Cuddling in bed, Kyle and Audra are both in awe of his genius plan. Both imagine Victor really gave it to Adam.
At the ranch, Victor tells Vikki that Adam’s been blackmailing Audra. Vikki assumes that’s why she was pitching the merger. The evidence will never see the light of day and Victor’s put Adam in his place. Nick just left (like his Dad, Mom and sister, he’s also reached his limits with Adam.
Are you out of your mind?! Dad just told me what you’ve been up to with Audra/Newman Media. Stepping into Adam’s apartment, Nick’s surprised to see Sally (looking like she’d rather be anywhere else)
What are you doing here? Nick came home a day early. Refocusing on Adam, Nick doesn’t agree that ‘it’s nothing’; ignoring the hint to shut up, he blabs all to Sally. You think you know how this’ll play out? You have no idea, he warns Adam.
Kyle likes Adam’s idea to merge the companies but there has to be a way to do it without Adam. Victor’s not onboard, Audra asks Kyle to show her his ‘method’ again.
Vikki can’t believe her Dad’s giving Adam one more chance (because he just came back from securing financing in Europe) Victor scolds Vikki for not coming to him right away, like Audra did. She only came to you because she was out of options, Vikki lists reasons why Audra shouldn’t be trusted (whereas Nate can be)
Continuing to protect Nate at Audra’s expense, Vikki is at a loss for words when Victor summarizes – so, get rid of Adam and fire Audra, is that it?
At the GCAC’s bar, Nate flashes back to a planning session with Audra (in which she advised him to take things to the next level with Victor’s ‘golden child’) Despite it being his wedding night, Tucker orders a drink. You and Audra both dodged a career-killing bullet, Nate updates.
Kyle believes Audra can win Nikki over too (I’m you’re secret weapon – she likes me) More than her own granddaughter? Audra has doubts – but imagine the power we’d have, politically, globally? (running a ‘massive media empire’) ~kiss~
