Phyllis marches over to Tucker and Phyllis in the lounge – where’s Carson!? He’s safe and sound, Tucker reminds her of the deal they made. Your fiance is holding me hostage, Phyllis appeals to Ashley but quickly realizes she’s in on it.

Jack’s sure that if they go to war with Ashley, Tucker will pull out every dirty trick in his playbook. Diane agrees – but has a plan.

Tucker’s phone pings – well well, well, you might be done with the war but the war’s not done with you, he tells Phyllis.

Still at the house, Jack’s phone pings too – his assistant’s sent him a link to Leanna Love’s live reporting on the Abbott family/company drama – Summer and Kyle have divorce lawyers on speed dial. Jack’s given his fiancee a top executive job – she has a great job and luxurious life to look forward to while Phyllis on her way to the slammer. Remarking that Leanna makes some good points, Tucker hopes Phyllis can earn his confidence back.

Back at CL’s, Sharon notes that Chance was pretty quiet on their walk from Society. He wants to forget about Adam and focus on more important things ~kiss~

Asking Nick and Sally to join him, Victor offers his deepest condolences. He admires the way she’s handled herself. Where are we going with this? Nick wonders.

Not to be mean, but Ashley thinks it karmic justice – you (Phyllis) were the one who brought Stark to GC. Passing Adam on their way out, Tucker’s jokes piss him off but amuse Ashley. Joining the ‘frazzled’ Phyllis, Adam’s told to shut up. But, he was just about to make her an offer.

Having heard that Sally’s design company is doing some work for CW, Victor has a better offer – a design division under the NE umbrella – all the office space and money she’ll need. Hard work is the best therapy there is. If you accept the offer, you work for no one else, Victor concludes.

Chance has faith that Sharon and Nick can keep Adam in line – but doesn’t trust the guy. He just wants her to be happy and successful. Taking his hands, Sharon believes she’s on her way towards both.

Jack gripes about Leanna Love airing his family’s dirty laundry (and flashes back to her seducing him) What’s Diane’s plan and how does Billy fit into it? Knowing that Billy’s willing to get his hands dirty, she wants him to be their Trojan horse.

When Tucker and Ashley come home, Jack announces that he’s changed his mind- he won’t break up his father’s company or fire Diane. You’re putting ‘her’ (Diane) above your own family, Ashley snarls – pathetic! Jack will give her one last chance or is this Abbott family war. Bring it on, Ashley doesn’t flinch.

Adam needs someone to build and run an IT team. Nick’s his partner. It might be a good way to get back into his good graces. Phyllis isn’t interested in a job – she wants to save her life. Good luck, Adam leaves.

When Nick apologizes for his Dad, Sally thinks it went well – Victor expressed his sympathies and offered her a job. Deciding to order room service, Nick sends her up while he’ll go say goodnight to his Dad. She pauses at the staircase to flash back to rejecting Adam’s job offer – no Newman will ever sign her paycheck again.

While Nick’s questioning his Dad’s motives, Sally thinks about Victor’s offer – then Adam’s offer. He comes knocking – are you in there? Nick shows up to ask what he’s doing. Nothing, Adam bolts.

Chance and Sharon kiss and dance to a song he puts on the jukebox… In her suite, Phyllis watches Leanna Love’s clip and tosses her phone and sulks…. Adam mopes over his drink at the bar… Sally tells Nick that room service is on it’s way – she doesn’t want to discuss his Dad’s job offer. She doesn’t want to talk about anything ~kiss~

Without further word, Ashley and Tucker go upstairs. Jack calls Billy – can we meet first thing in the morning? Diane and I have an idea to stop Ashley from destroying Jabot
