Sharon explains her rationale to Chance – she can’t sell the company because it’s in shambles. Instead, she’ll turn evil into good. Chance is impressed – I love seeing you this way. They then kiss passionately.
Let’s go back to my office, Sharon pants. Good idea, Chance can’t get her there fast enough.
Tucker orders expensive red wine and boasts that he’s on the verge of having everything he wants. He’s glad to be free of McCall. The world is now mine, he clinks Audra’s glass.
Victor lectures Vikki for ousting her brother to promote Nate (who he doesn’t trust) He’s not pleased with Adam (for coming after Newman Media) I call the shots from now on – you’ll do what I want you to do.
Audra mocks Tucker’s vague and drunk rambling. Maybe a bit tipsy, he admits (but won’t confine the ‘catalyst of his joy’. Her future’s looking promising as well. When she gets a text, Tucker leans over to read it – Kyle Abbott?! it’s his turn to do the mocking.
Sharon and Chance get busy in her office (she’s holding up well at 52)
Victor lays down the law; starting tomorrow, Nick will help Adam run Adustus (which will become a subsidiary of NE) Nate will continue to work under Vikki (my words, not his) Nick agrees, Vikki reluctantly does too. Adam storms out.
Back at the GCAC, Tucker wouldn’t expect Kyle to offer Audra too much to sink her teeth into. She disagrees and has asked him to work for her. Good night. Go get ‘im Tiger, he calls out as Audra heads upstairs; pausing briefly to reply to Kyle’s text (my suite in half hour)
Vikki and Nate are in her office. She hands him a drink. Yes, this is the way she hoped things would pan out; McCall goes to Newman and Adam’s humiliated. He works for us or he’s gone.
Sharon and Chance kiss under blanket (and if you pause it at the right moment, as I did, you’ll see that Sharon’s right leg looks like … well, you can’t unsee it once you spot it) With someone’s knocking insistently/loudly at the door, Sharon sees that she’s missed two calls from Adam.
Nick’s left with his parents (who appreciate him going along with his Dad’s plan) Adam’s been pushed into a corner. He’ll be more volatile than ever. If he doesn’t all in line, Victor’s done with him.
Now dressed, Sharon unlocks the door. Adam saw her car outside. Victor pulled a fast one on him. Adustus is gone and he wants nothing to do with his family – so, he’s onboard with turning Kirsten Inc around with Sharon.
