Billy thinks that Tucker’s using Ashley to get Jabot. I’m Team Jack all the way! he declares. Jack arrives at the office to pile on. Take a walk, Ashley orders Billy. For some reason she mentions him passing out drunk when he was 16 and more recently losing the Jabot yacht in a poker game. All three of their phones go off – Traci’s calling a family meeting. They hurry out hoping Harrison’s OK.
Back at the house, Diane vows to do whatever she can to help Summer reconnect with Kyle (but rolls her eyes when she leaves the room) Enter Zelda to greet Traci’s siblings warmly before leaving her to ask the family what John would think of this fighting.
When Jack and Ashley start bickering about what Dad would think. Traci breaks it up – Daddy was fair and believed in second chances. After Diane and Summer recuse themselves from the family meeting, Traci sits the Abbotts down. It’s Jack’s turn to flash back to his Dad supporting him and asking him to lead the family.
Also flashing back to her Dad’s support, Ashley opines that Daddy always had the best advice. He knew all the right things to say. She also remembers his concerns about her and Jack’s strained relationship. Invited to weigh in, Kyle wishes they’d take it easy on his Mom. He doesn’t believe that Summer’s truly sorry. Traci encourages him to forgive her. Not sure he can, Kyle exits. Having given her brothers and sister lots to think about, Traci leaves too.
Billy loves and respects both Jack and Ashley – regardless of who they choose to marry. He leaves Jack to ask ‘Can we get past this’? Ashley doesn’t know – can we?
Back at the club to say goodbye to Zelda, Traci thanks her her advice. After more flashbacks of John being a loving father to Traci, Jack and Ashley, Traci smiles at a photo of John on her phone. Back at the house, it seems that Jack and Ashley are talking things out.
