Summer joins her Mom with bad news – everything’s about to hit the fan. Everything? Phyllis guesses that she told Kyle the whole truth.
Nick must go check on Sharon and Faith. Yes, Sally will be OK – all she has to say is ‘Call Nick’ into her phone if she needs him. He has the cops and security on this – Cameron’s time is up.
Mariah reluctantly tells Kyle the truth (which is more than she can say for his wife) She’s tried hard to see the good in Summer but has never trusted her. She chose her Mother over you.
Summer had no choice but to come clean to Kyle. Phyllis is heartbroken over this – how did he take it? Summer knows he’s right – I chose you over Kyle. Yes, it IS all your fault but we have to go – Kyle’s furious and you’re not safe here.
Jack’s told Diane that Ashley’s marrying Tucker to protect Jabot. He and Billy are determined to stop them.
Downstairs, Nick doesn’t think Adam overstepped by buying a blood pressure monitor for Sally. He has a favour to ask – look out for her.
Summer chose her Mother over you, Mariah repeats – they’re always plotting and scheming. What about Harrison? It’s a parent’s job to protect their kids. What am I supposed to do? Kyle asks. You know, and I’m so, so sorry.
Now updated, Adam can’t believe this guy’s on the streets to torment Sharon. He’ll look after Sally and the baby no problem. You’ve brought this chaos to her door. Adam also finds it telling which woman Nick’s more focused on.
Summer sees no reason Kyle wouldn’t go to the police. Phyllis is even more alarmed to hear that she spoke to Chance. Are you ready to run? Summer persists. Phyllis considers putting an end to this and letting Chance arrest her.
At CL’s, Kyle tells Chance that he knows where Phyllis is – follow me.
Summer won’t hear of her Mom turning herself in. Phyllis will surrender to Chance, take full responsibility and paint Summer in the best light possible. I want to give you your life back, she’s in tears. You’d do that for me? Summer’s touched. Yes, I’d do anything for you – let’s do this.
Jack would like to end Ashley’s coup attempt. Since she’s afraid that I’ll move up at Jabot, Diane has an idea to show that they’re ready to fight – promote me. Surprised, Jack’s jaw hangs open.
Adam delivers the blood pressure cuff to Sally’s suite. Both hope she doesn’t need the ‘worst gift ever’. Shouldn’t you be somewhere? Adam’s where he needs to be. Yes, he and Nick are working together (so it must be for a good cause)
At the house, Nick agrees that Faith leaving is a good idea. Cameron’s at the GCAC, he adds. Sharon notices his hand – did you get through to him? Nick hopes so.
Racing to Phyllis’ room, Chance bangs on the door – GCPD! Open up! He swipes the door open and goes inside. Kyle follows. The room is vacant. Someone tipped her off – my wife, Kyle’s sure that if he finds Summer he’ll find Phyllis.
My Thoughts: Oh, the irony – Adam’s indignant to hear that ‘this freak’ is out and able to torment Sharon (like he wasn’t the ‘freak’ who kidnapped her newborn and gave her to Ashley; causing ‘torment’ for both women) …. Summer should save her whining in case her Mom needs a character witness to take the stand. I doubt the Judge will be as sympathetic to a supportive daughter as he/she would be to the witness impact statement of the loved ones of the dead bodies Phyllis and Stark blew to smithereens in the ambulance explosion. Desecration of a body is a crime – which gives Summer my award for unintentional funny line of the day “My Mom’s not a criminal”. Oh really? Phyllis has committed many crimes. She just hasn’t been convicted of anything … Why is Chance, instead of calling for backup, letting Kyle tag along to apprehend a woman suspected of murder? ‘Follow me’? Kyle says – like he couldn’t just tell Chance what room Phyllis was in at the GCAC.. Phyllis left in a hurry – there must be some DNA on the room. How did Chance get the swipe card without a warrant? What’s taking Jimmy so long to get to Cameron’s suite? Surely Chance (GC’s one and only detective) will be suspicious of his delay in reporting Nick supposedly assaulting him.
