Nate’s not worried about having one on one time with Victor Newman. Vikki finds if very sexy that he’s not intimidated. Few things intimidate Nate – and he has Vikki to thank for that.
In the park, Lily scowls into her phone – the video gaming bloggers may want the stats released now but they’ll get them when I say so ~click~ When Billy comes along, they joke about their awkward double date. She and Daniel? Slow and steady. Billy and Chelsea? Slow, more wobbly than steady.
You’re gonna wanna get that (fist) on ice, Cameron mocks Nick. He will NOT check out by morning. You’ll have to drag me out here in a bag; I’ve got things to do, women to seduce. I haven’t broken any laws or hurt any cats. He saw Faith once. It’s sweet how protective you are of your ex wife. Be gone by morning, Nick orders. Or what? You don’t want to find out, Nick slams the door behind him.
Vikki has a meeting. No, nothing Nate needs to tag along on. Wait here – that’ll give me reason to hurry back. Nate’s getting comfy in the big chair when Audra comes in to admire how he operates – it’s a wonder you and Vikki have time to get any work done at all.
Daniel’s mood doesn’t have anything to do with Chelsea’s game. It’ll find it’s audience. The soft launch numbers aren’t the best but players are talking it up online. Reading a positive review, Chelsea’s happy – we’re helping people.
Vikki’s asked Billy to meet her to discuss the kids going to boarding school. She oversells it to the point that he wonders if it’s what the kids really want – or does this have to do with Vikki’s new relationship with Nate? She looks guilty.
Billy’s sorry. It was a jerk thing to say – he knows she’d never put a man before the kids. He’s upset about something else and taking it out on her (he doesn’t feel needed anymore) We have to give the kids space and a safety net.
Daniel praises Chelsea for taking her pain and turning it into something positive. She knows he’s a good man who wants to do good things.
OMG – Nikki knew Nick went to find Cameron. Look at your hand! No, Nick didn’t touch him – the wall wasn’t so lucky. Right cross? Victor’s proud. After Nikki excuses herself to take a call, Victor tells Nick that he fired the loser-security guard who was found tied up in a closet without any clothes.
When Victor has to meet Nate, Nick gripes about him having time for an opportunist. You’re dating an opportunist; Sally is a noose around your neck, Victor clarifies. Because of this baby, she’s part of our lives.
Daniel gives Lily a big hug. Briefly discussing Chelsea’s game, he then stuns with the news that Phyllis is staying at the club – the cops could be at her door any second
At CL’s, Chelsea ends a call from Connor’s teacher – she thinks he’s shutting down. Billy won’t try to fix it – do you need advice or someone to vent to. She’s glad he trusts her to decide. A chat and ice cream should help. One day at a time. Thanks for listening. Now, what can I do for you?
In the office, Nate thinks Audra should tone it down with Vikki. We’re in this together. She’s feeding him info – he makes the ideas. Nick could be an issue, they agree. He sees you as a threat, Audra knows.
Victor tells Nick that he’s wasting his time and energy. Forget Sally – Sharon and Faith need you.
Billy whines about the kids going to camp for the summer, then boarding school in the fall. Chelsea can’t fix it – but let’s go talk over ice cream.
Vikki returns to tell Nate that Billy made a jab. What we have confuses people. Let’s make it official, he invites – with a date; cocktails, dinner, dancing.
After Nick marches out, Nikki returns to ask what’s wrong. Victor thinks he’s spread too thin. She worries his temper will get him into trouble.
Cameron calls Jimmy – got a job for you. Bring your right hook. You’re gonna need it.
My Thoughts: Bah ha ha Nick. Maybe if you could show Sally this bad boy side of you, she’d stop wanting the ‘bad’ brother. For all Nick’s huffin’ and puffin’, if pure body/fat ratio is anything to go by, Cameron will wipe the floor with you. No wonder he’s had so many shirtless scenes. He’s very fit for 63 …. Vikki’s Daddy issues were on full display and crossing the line today. Gross even …. When does Vikki have time to use a treadmill? I wonder how many of Newman’s true crime podcasts are actually about the Newmans….Poor Borgnine’s stiff, cold body has more chemistry in it than Billy and Chelsea. Nothing says ‘honeymoon over’ like dry-lipped pecks on the forehead …. Of course, Daniel hasn’t been completely honest with Lily – he hasn’t explained why he and his Mother are both giving their business to the suddenly revived GCAC over her newly acquired Grand Phoenix? And won’t Noah be pissed off when he finds out his Glam Club was replaced by the jazz lounge by the time he and Ally landed at Heathrow… If only Sharon would file a restraining order…. Victor fired the security guard who was just assaulted by a madman and Nick thinks that ‘good’? I hope this ‘loser’ guard sues their asses for providing an unsafe working environment! Neither showed ANY empathy for their employee whatsoever.
