The Abbott brothers stop by Adam and Victor’s table at Society. His engagement to Diane mentioned by Victor, Jack claims that everything is coming up roses – Nothing can spoil his good mood this morning.
Downstairs at the GCAC, Audra invites Nate to join her to strategize – unless he’d like to go somewhere more private. Vikki appears to explain that Newman keeps a suite upstairs. After the lovers leave, Tucker pauses to needle a disappointed Audra.
At the house, Faith wonders where ‘Borgy’ is. Both hoping that sicko (Cameron) is gone, Faith tells her Mom that she’s going to visit the baby – don’t worry, I’ll be careful. Opening the front door, she screams.
Borgnine’s not breathing – I think he’s dead! Faith is right. The poor cat laying on the welcome mat, Sharon hurries them both inside. Call your Dad, I’ll call Chance!
Summer comes downstairs to bid Kyle ‘good morning’. Since they have the house to themselves, he hopes she’ll finally tell him the truth.

The Abbott boys are delighted with Jabot’s profit margins (including a men’s grooming line that Adam dropped the ball on) Keep Diane away from my wife’s jewelry, Victor quips. Enjoy your breakfast, Adam adds.
Chance has an officer taking the cat in for an ‘examination’ (what he means is a necropsy) Nick arrives to hear that poor Borgnine is dead. He and Sharon are sure they know what happened. No one knows this property better than me! Nick ignores Chance repeating his name as he storms out.
Jack informs Billy that Ashley made an announcement last night – she and Tucker are getting married as soon as possible.
Joined by Tucker, Audra boasts that she’s had private meetings with Nate in her own suite. Not like Vikki’s, he suspects. Nate and I are strictly business, Audra’s focus is the top spot at Newman Media. Tucker knows it’s killing her how close Nate is to Vikki.
Upstairs, Vikki and Nate aren’t looking for files at all. After sexy talk about how well Newman Media’s doing, Vikki pushes him onto the bed.
Back at Society, Adam knows his Dad was right; leaving Jabot was the right decision. As for McCall – he’s making some moves to shake things up.
When Summer reluctantly hands over her phone, Kyle reads texts she and Phyllis exchanged. YOU were the first one to see her, not Daniel! She knew you were the one who’d lie for her. Summer weepily admits to looking Kyle in the eye while lying to his face.
What the hell? How could you lie about something that affected us for months!? Kyle’s livid. Summer didn’t have a choice – she wanted to keep her Mom out of jail. You could have cleared MY Mom’s name; instead, you did NOTHING!
Billy and Jack agree that Ashley marrying Tucker is a terrible idea. She caught that con artist with Jabot financials in his suite – she knew he was coming after Jabot. Billy thinks she has something up her sleeve and it involves Jabot.
