Phyllis lets Summer in. We agreed you wouldn’t text me when I’m with Kyle! This isn’t urgent, it’s about you wanting to see Daniel. He’d go straight to the police, she warns. About that…. knock knock. Phyllis had to take matters into her own hands. Summer – did you send me this weird text? Daniel asks. He’s stunned to see his Mom.
While Nick goes to the back to get sugar, Sharon’s on the patio for the containers – which she drops when Cameron appears beside her.
Jack’s brought Diane down to the jazz lounge. With a dazed look, she goes back to how happy she was that night – until Phyllis collapsed and everything changed. She’d rather dance than leave.
I was right to do this – everything’s going to be OK. Phyllis apologizes to Daniel – she’ll spend the rest of her life making it up to them. I admitted I’m wrong, she seems surprised that he’s angry – she realized it during her memorial service. The program art he created meant so much to her – I couldn’t throw it away. But you did throw it away – Chance found it and there’s an APB out on you, Summer burps out.
Cameron’s imagined this moment so many times. Sharon will talk to him at the police station tomorrow – now leave Cameron. He misses the way she says his name – we had some good times didn’t we? No, we did not. He tried to forget her but it’s impossible. Why are you here? she asks.
Though Nikki certainly doesn’t approve of Phyllis’ actions, she still clearly hates Diane more. She’s Jack’s problem – ignore her, Victor suggests. Nikki can’t do that. Once she marries Jack, Diane will be an even bigger problem.
Diane looks at her ring over Jack’s shoulder. You OK? he asks. Very, she replies as they continue to dance.
Wow – Diane got out from under the charges – she got away with it again, Phyllis isn’t happy to hear. She’s innocent, Daniel rightly points out. Diane’s looking at a fairy tale life and I’m looking at a huge mess, she whines. A mess you created, Daniel’s indignant – So we just don’t say anything? What about Kyle? He deserves to know. He will, when the time is right, Summer’s annoyed. Near tears, Phyllis must disappear and take care of this on her own. You could get in trouble. You taught me to protect our loved ones at all costs, Summer stands firm. Whatever it takes, Daniel agrees – I love you Mom. Phyllis couldn’t be happier ~hug~
Still menacing Sharon on the patio, Cameron sounds insulted – you don’t want to know what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years? I’ve been curious about you. We had our problems but what we shared, our connection was real. I know you felt it. Nick runs out to push Cameron – stay away from my family!
Jack’s never seen Diane look more radiant, more alive. He suggests some dream weddings. She doesn’t care if they go down to the justice of the speech, she just wants to be his wife, the sooner the better.
Again the victim, Phyllis is incensed that Chris put out an APB on her. You were pretty horrible to her back in the day, Daniel’s again speaks the truth. No I wasn’t, Phyllis lies. When Summer explains that she had to tell Victor and Nikki, Daniel comment – but not Kyle? Yes, you should turn yourself in – that would be the right thing. But you need a safer place to hide. Summer needs to sleep on it – she doesn’t want Kyle to worry about her. Too late – here’s Kyle. What the hell?!
Hey Slick, long time no see, Cameron just stopped in to say Hi. I ran into your daughter – such a little beauty, just like her Mom. He came in peace – why is Nick threatening Violence? What do you want? That’s for another time – y’all have a nice night, Cameron saunters out, leaving Sharon to weep in Nick’s arms.
Next Week: How long have you knows… a move like that would put you in direct competition with Newman Media? Exactly… Stay close, be careful, Sharon tells Faith as she heads to the front door. I will, Faith says – but the door hasn’t even closed behind her.
My Thoughts: We get it Jack, you’re young at heart and in love – but a man of your age and status shouldn’t be running around with a new record like he’s a 7 year old with the newest Spiderman comic. When I see Jack run I’m STILL reminded of that time he ran around the park in his polo and Mom jeans looking for his niece, Colleen …. We get it #2 Nikki and Ashley – you have Diane. But is that any reason to forget that you also hate Phyllis? It’s possible to hate more than one person – just ask Victor … I don’t get it – detective Chance is supposed to be the best detective who ever detected. You failed to get ‘eyes on’ Cameron and Sharon’s coffee shop, where she spends 99% of her time seems like it’d be a good place to start. Same goes for Victor’s security guys – guess Nick didn’t have them ‘beefed up’ enough…. I’m no fan of Diane or Cameron’s but it was cute to see the in-real-life spouses interact. I guess that’s why he looks familiar to her … How can Phyllis possibly say that she didn’t treat Chris horribly? That’s an understatement, and having been raised by Danny, Daniel probably knows everything.
