With Faith’s upstairs trying to asleep, Sharon and Nick give Victor and Nikki the shocking news that Cameron’s in GC. They’re told about the champagne bottle, the postcard, the matchbook (delivered here despite security) He came to CL’s. He approached Faith. Yes, they told Chance but the police haven’t been able to find Cameron. Come stay at the main house – Nikki and Victor want to keep them safe.
We get it, Summer chimes in – my Mom’s made mistakes but we can’t leave her to the mercy of Christine. I’ll never forgive you for this, Kyle scowls at Phyllis. She just needs a bit of time. Please, Summer adds pressure. No cops, for now, Kyle marches out. Summer runs after him. Daniel rejoins his Mom – not what you planned huh? No, not at all.
Jack doesn’t think Summer will be Diane’s matron of honour. Diane must at least try. She’s determined to be there for Summer. Now it’s time to go home to make love. Jack thinks that a great idea.
Tucker wants validation – a ring on his finger to say that he’s spoken for and out of circulation. It didn’t stop you from circulating last time, Ashley quips. Marrying her is Tucker’s dream – and then he can legally take over Jabot (saving it from Diane)
Phyllis is worried about Daniel – I’m your Mom; even though you think I’m a vindictive psychopath. He chuckles then tells her that he attacked Stark – I hated the world because you weren’t in it anymore. You saw me grieving and let me go through that, he sadly concludes. I did, and I’m sorry, Phyllis turns on the tears – it kills me. Daniel loves his Mom but isn’t sure he can forgive her.
Back at the house, Kyle’s figured out that Summer was more surprised to see him than her Mom back from the dead. That wasn’t the first time you saw Phyllis – how long have you known?
As Victor sends a security guy off with instructions, Nick ends a call – security is tracking Cameron. Nikki comes downstairs to say that Sharon was right, Faith won’t be scared out of her own home. Victor wants them to get some sleep – someone will be watching this house at all times.
Cameron returns to his room and grabs a garbage bag – puts his boots in it, then unbuttons his shirt.
Phyllis doesn’t understand why she does some of the things she does – she knows that she’s hurt the two people she loves the most and put herself in hell. I’ll never run again or be separated from my family. Do you believe me? Daniel responds with a hug.
Kyle’s interrogation of Summer is interrupted by Jack and Diane’s arrival. Diane goes on about how worried Summer must be about her Mom. I’m glad you have Kyle to lean on. Love and trust can move mountains. They can, Jack agrees. A drunken Ashley and Tucker loudly tumble in ready to celebrate. This miracle of a woman has agreed to marry me as soon as humanly possible! Ashley drinks straight from the bottle Tucker’s just popped open.
Sharon and Nick are now alone. He wonders how she can be so calm. We can handle this and we have Victor’s team and the police, she explains. Nick gets a text – it’s from Victor – one of his guys was found tied up, drugged and stuffed into a closet at Newman Tower. His uniform is missing.
