Sharon hands Faith her laptop – is this him? Yes, but why does this say he was arrested and why did Nick call Chance? (who then arrives) Faith explains the encounter and shows Chance the directions she looked up for CK on her phone. Chance makes a call to send someone over to the bar. What’s going on? Faith demands to know.
Diane and Jack fill Ashley and Tucker in on Phyllis being alive. Perhaps this was hatched by you and the coven, Diane suggests. Declaring it a miracle that Phyllis is alive, Ashley does NOT want to join them for champagne .
For now, all Faith needs to know is that CK is a very dangerous man – a painful part of Sharon’s history. Chance reports that CK hasn’t been at the bar. He doesn’t have enough to arrest him but will try get eyes on him. Seeing Sally’s missed call, Nick leaves her a message then rushes out to go check on her.
In order to protect her ‘family’ from the greedy Diane, Ashley needs Tucker to be her ally. She must stop Diane before she marries Jack and has ‘even more power’.
Sally and Adam are discussing their backgrounds (she a ‘carnival gypsy’, he a farm kid who once birthed a calf) when Nick arrives.
Glad that Nick could make it, Adam will let him take over from here. Take care of her. Always, Nick’s left to ask Sally what happened. Updated, Nick’s sorry he missed her call. I owe Adam a big thank you. He was great, Sally admits – she’s worried. Nick’s sorry he wasn’t there for her. Why didn’t you get my messages? Is everything OK? she asks.
As Jack and Diane toast one another and clink glasses, Ashley thinks she and Tucker can use their fake engagement as a distraction. She’s reached out to the board and wants him to come work with her at Jabot. Tucker cautions her against alienating both of her brothers. What if you just let Jack and Diane have their happiness? You don’t need Jabot – we could build something better.
Glad to run into Adam at CL’s, Chelsea informs him that Connor’s moods are all over the place. This baby will be a huge adjustment for him. Adam snaps, then apologizes – there might be a problem with the baby.
Chelsea’s sorry – Adam must feel like an outsider watching Nick with Sally. It stings that I wasn’t her first call, he admits – he can’t focus on fixing McCall – all he thinks of is Sally and the baby.
Shrugging off the boring Newman business he had to attend to, Nick leads Sally to the bed. With a kiss he promises that everything will be OK – but as they spoon, both look worried.
We’d be unstoppable, what’s stopping us? Tucker has plenty of money. Is this a pitch or a seduction? she wonders. Both – it’d be a ball – you and me in sync. You’d forget all about whatsername over there (Diane) Maybe you should continue to make your case somewhere more private, Ashley leads the way. Those two are up to something, Jack suspects as they pass by their table. Diane won’t let them spoil their celebration.
On his way out, Chance instructs Sharon to lock the door behind him and stay on alert. Now alone with Faith, Sharon will tell her exactly who this monster is.
In his suite, Cameron has a drink as he flashes back over his history with Sharon. Coming to behind a dumpster, covered in snow after she dragged him downstairs, he was never so angry. But, that’s in the past, we’re together now, he’d told her on a private jet. Looking at Sharon’s photo on his phone, Cameron flashes back to watching her from the CL’s patio as she and Nick discuss the bottle of champagne.
