When Mariah quietly asks Sharon why Ashley’s staring daggers at Harmony, Sharon explains that when she and Tucker were married, he and Harmony ‘had a moment’.
Harmony and Tucker are proud of the man Devon’s become (no thanks to us) She regrets hurting Ashley and hopes he doesn’t hurt her again. You and me both, Tucker quips.
At the bar, Abby’s pleased that Tucker found a way to make this night even more special but correctly assumes her Mom wishes he’d found another way to do it. Ashley decides it’s time she said hello.
Summer stifles a giggle before turning around as Diane pleads her innocence. You’re responsible for all the lies and bringing Stark into our lives. Summer won’t be celebrating Diane’s homecoming but is happy for Jack and Kyle (who’s about to take his wife out for some air when Diane has something else to say)
Ashley greets Harmony – so nice you could be here for Devon. It’s so strange being here after all these years. Som much has changed – so much has stayed the same; like the connection between Ashley and Tucker. It’s something to be cherished and admired. Ashley thinks that a lovely thing to say.
Lily and Nate have a nice chat. He mentions that he felt it was time he left LA.
Nikki and Victor have a nice talk with Sharon and Mariah. She and Tessa are invited to make use of the ranch grounds.
Daniel flashes back to Summer insisting that their Mom’s alive. Hey, you OK? Lily comes over to say. The party’s going great, he’s just thinking. About what? Not important. Lily knows he’s holding back – and this it’s about his Mom.
Mariah and Sharon bid Devon and Abby a good night, followed by Nikki and Victor. They hope Harmony enjoys her visit and not wanting to intrude on Lily and Daniel ask them to say goodnight for them.
Daniel’s conscience is bothering him – he doesn’t know what to do. Lily talks about making decisions – some you can live with, some you can’t.
Devon again thanks Tucker for bringing his Mom tonight.
Daniel has to take off. Lily’s going to visit Charlie in NY tomorrow. Whatever you decide will be the right thing. How can she be so sure? I know you ~hug~
Diane will do her best to stay out of Summer’s way but can’t leave the property so it might be hard. You’re going to be here 24/7? I can’t avoid you? Summer huffs and puffs. Kyle’s sure they can make it work – for Harrison’s sake. Getting an urgent text from Daniel, she rushes out.
Lily and Devon are surprised when Malcom (Shemar Moore!) arrives. When it came to the great Neil Winters, I show up, no matter what it takes, he stares at the portrait of Neil. Yes, he remembers Harmony – nice to see you again. Nate joins the love-fest. Harmony brings herself to tears. Devon’s just made a decision – something he has to do for himself and for Neil.
Kyle shares his frustration with his parents – I shouldn’t have let Summer go. Where is she? Where does she keep taking off to? Jack advises him to welcome Summer home with open arms. I can’t wait that long, Kyle marches out.
Hello? Is somebody there? Daniel’s at the park. Summer thinks it risky to meet there. He doesn’t care what she thinks – this is about what I have to say.
Devon never imagined being able to honour Neil properly. He wants to legally change his name to Winters. Harmony and Malcolm approve. You know what he’d say. My man. You’re a Winters now – my brother, Malcolm hugs him. Of course Lily approves ~hug~ Devon then shares ‘I love you’s’ with Harmony.
On the couch, Jack and Diane enjoy being in each other’s arms again. He has hopes that once they find out the truth about what happened to Phyllis, they can all heal, including Summer.
Daniel’s voice is full of scorn as he tells Summer that he just came from the lounge where their Mom supposedly died. Lily was consoling him. We must tell everyone the truth – that Mom’s alive, then we’re going to bring her home.
Back at the GCAC, Nate announces that he’s going to rent a room; Elena has to work early so he doesn’t want to disturb her sleep. He walks Harmony to the elevator. Abby and Devon say ‘I love you’ before she goes to wait out front. Malcolm shows up for Neil because he would for him. Arms wrapped around Lily and Neil, the trio look up at Neil’s portrait. Tonight was a beautiful evening – you do Neil proud. Your star keeps shining, he says.
