At home, Jack admires the program Summer had printed, with the photo of Phyllis that Daniel tweaked. When Diane questions the choice of venue, Jack lists everything that went wrong in the jazz lounge that night. Kyle appears to agree – it’s a terrible mistake (to hold the service there)
The jazz lounge is fancily decorated. The bubbly is on ice. Summer spots the yellow crime scene tape peeking out of a trash can. I’ll make this right, she promises the large framed photo of her Mother on her way out.
When Lily drops by his suite to check on him, Daniel claims that he’ll fake having it together for Summer’s sake – and for his Mom. Worried that he’s overwhelmed, Lily’s decided to suspend work on Omegashere.
Sally welcomes Nick into her suite (also at the GCAC) Yes, he’s worried about Summer and her choice to have the celebration of life in the same room where everything happened.
At CL’s, Jeremy barks into his phone. What do you mean she was a no-show? She was supposed to be on that damn flight last night!!
Phyllis lets herself into her motel room to unpack items from her bag – shoes, dress and a black wig.
Kyle informs that he and Summer haven’t spoken in days – she’s been so busy planning her Mom’s service. When Diane considers not attending, he relays Summer’s insistence that all three of them be there.
While Nick’s at the CL’s counter ordering, Sally offers her condolences and assistance to Summer (who lashes out – you belong with Adam, not my Dad!) Nick gently reprimands Summer then apologizes to Sally. After Summer marches out, Sally admits that she’s right – Phyllis wouldn’t want me there. Go, she sends Nick off with a kiss.
Daniel needs to work; to have something positive to focus on. My Mom loved Omegasphere. This type of trauma is what Chelsea and I think Omegasphere can help people deal with. Lily relents – but not today. Relieved, Daniel thanks her.
Phyllis? Are you here? Jeremy searches the motel room and quickly determining that she’s not, flies back out.
