Summer asks Victor not to use Adam as a means to drive a wedge between Kyle and Jack. It’s the last thing my husband needs. Victor will give it some thought – I adore you.
Jack’s mad – Adam answers to ME! Not Victor, not YOU, he shouts at Kyle. He stands by his decision to hire Adam and is just glad that Kyle has no part in it. Next topic is Diane. Protect yourself, Kyle warns. Jack wonders where that’s coming from.
Adam continues to stew as Billy, Chelsea and the boys get under his skin by enjoying each others company.
Kyle hopes his Dad doesn’t get his heart hurt – you took a big risk for Mom, we appreciate it. Jack’s sure Stark isn’t a threat and sees a bright future with Diane.
Nikki suspects that the jewel heist brought Jack and Diane closer. You’ll soon talk your way into his home – but it’ll end ugly. Stark coming to town allowed you to play the damsel in distress – you should really thank Phyllis. Diane gushes about her relationship – get used to it and leave us alone.
Jack flashes back to Diane vowing never to risk losing Jack and Kyle again. Chance drops by on official police business.
Chance returns Jack’s briefcase (and the 500K) – it was found in Stark’s suite. Odd that he didn’t use the ‘loaned’ money for legal fees, Chance notes how well this all worked out for Jack – Stark behind bars without you losing a dime. Pretty convenient, he leaves Jack to huff – wow.
The party breaking up, Adam’s even more disturbed when Billy and Chelsea mention that they’re going for dinner later.
At the house, Jack updates Diane that the good folks at the Chicago PD returned his money. She relays her run in with Nikki – I probably said more than I should have.
Kyle’s flashing back to his Mom promising never to abandon him again when Summer joins him in Jack’s office. Someone told Dad that I was conspiring with Victor to get Adam fired. See? Aren’t you glad you listened to me? That you’re staying out of it. Wait, you are, right? Adam appears looking for Jack. I gather you know what your husband’s up to? he asks Summer.
At Society, Nikki hates that Diane’s glomming onto Jack. They deserve each other, Victor crows.
Diane told Nikki that her life’s fabulous – get used to seeing us together, again. Jack sees nothing wrong with that – we have nothing to hide. Bring it on – he’s very happy – nothing will take that away from me ~hug~
Adam’s surprised that Kyle would do something so underhanded, knowing it’d piss off Jack (and that Summer would go along with it) When will you admit you don’t even want to be here? Kyle asks. Biting his tongue, Adam leaves Summer to glare at Kyle.
When Billy picks her up, Chelsea’s nervous to be going out – she wouldn’t attempt this with anyone else. Shall we? Billy takes her hand and off they go.
