Sally’s fully recovered. Good, Nick invites her out to dinner. Choosing take-out instead, she rips the paper into tiny pieces as soon as he leaves.
Summer’s tired; it’s one conflict after another with no end in sight – she needs a break. Harrison’s picking up on the tension. And a sudden trip to Paris won’t seem odd to him? Summer will take the nanny along and stay on top of business. Good points, Kyle admits that he’s scared too. He can’t leave his Mom – but worries this is coming between him and Summer.
Diane tells Jeremy that she’s back in the hotel (not Jack’s) Perhaps we should share a suite, he suggests. Declining, Diane adds that she has made her family furious by going back to Jeremy. She’s up for the challenge of his loyalty test. His plan is something dangerous that would prove she’ll go to the limit for him – and then some.
You want me to compromise myself and prove I have skin in the game, Diane asks what Jeremy wants her to do. Surprise me, he smiles.
Billy and Lily want to salvage the night (but she’s still not hungry, he again suggests a drink) They huddle closer to worry.
Sharon and Chance are back at CL’s with takeout. He’s glad she agreed to try Ethiopian food.
Kyle gets it – things are stressed here and at the office. But, when he assumes Summer’s upset because her Mother is, he’s surprised to be set straight. This is about YOUR Mother and her never-ending chaos!
Meeting on the patio, Diane’s happy to update Jack that Jeremy’s greed is overshadowing his suspicion. But – we need to find a crime for me to commit.
When Nick returns with lots of takeout from Society, Sally declares him the perfect man; thoughtful and sexy ~kiss~ (the food is forgotten)
Continuing to enjoy their evening, Sharon and Chance agree to have another dinner ‘adventure’ next week.
Kyle reminds Summer that her Mother was the one to invite chaos to town. Stark would have tracked her to GC soon enough, she again asks Kyle about her taking Harrison to Paris. I love you so much, he hates this. I love you too, Summer hugs him.
Jeremy wants to know that I’ll risk jail time, Diane knows he’ll be putty in her hands once she pulls this off. The crime she’s considering is stealing something of value; not from Jack’s safe (Jeremy will guess we’re in cahoots) The victim must be someone who’d never help me – IE Phyllis.
After dinner, Lily needs some air. Billy will get the check and join her. No, Lilly needs some time alone. We’ll be alright, he reassures – we’ll do whatever it takes. Let’s be honest, Lily sees no need to keep doing this. With a kiss on the cheek, she pauses at the door to read a text (Daniel asking how things went) Pausing briefly to look back in at Billy, a devastated Lily leaves.
In bed, no, Nick no longer has concerns about Sally ghosting him. In fact, why don’t you come and ‘ghost me’ in the shower? Sally’s starving so will unpack the feast while he’s showering. Unfortunately, the smell of the food makes her nauseous.
Kyle wishes he could shield Summer from ‘all of it’. She wants to protect him just as much ~kiss~
Jack thinks it would be a big mistake to steal from Phyllis. Diane agrees and riles Ashley out also. By process of elimination, Nikki will be the target.
Next Week: What happened? Chelsea asks. It’s over, a devastated Billy reports … That’s what I remember and missed so much – don’t tell me you don’t, he challenges Ashley (as they lay in bed!) … Devon tells Audra that he’s no longer worried about Nate – we have an entirely new threat; we have another traitor at the company.
Congratulations to Canada’s Junior Hockey Team; 2023 World Champs!
