When Noah brings Ally to CL’s, both he and Sharon’s eyes glaze over as she blathers on about her research. And when Ally goes onto the patio to talk Christmas surprises, Sharon folds her arms and frowns.
Still in Vikki’s office, Nick pulls Sally in closer to ask if she can pencil him in for dinner.
Summer lectures Phyllis for running Harrison’s DD out of town. This is hard on Kyle too, and our marriage. Phyllis continues to blame Diane (who she’s helping by telling Stark to leave town) Summer then announces that she and Kyle agree with Jack – your employment is terminated effectively immediately.
This feels wonderful to Sally – taking things slow (unlike with Adam) But she has no time to kiss Nick – her take-out is waiting at Society. I’ll pencil you in, she teases on her way out.
Sharon wants to speak to Noah before Ally comes back – Audra was here looking for you. Ally appears; she heard – and Noah knows she heard.
Vikki sincerely wants the best for Chelsea but can’t help but have concerns still.
You’re firing me? Unbelievable. Hoping this will be a learning experience, Summer brushes past Sally on her way out. Phyllis is left to focus on her drink (while Sally and Adam focus on one another)
Adam’s surprised when Sally joins him at the bar. Why? She’s OK with the way they ended things – and it’s a small town. How are you spending your time these days? he asks.
The Baldwins stop by Phyllis’ table (and get an earful about not putting a stop to Diane) Mike issues an ‘I told you so’ – I did tell you this’d bite you in the ass, he crows.
After putting her foot in her mouth, Sharon conveniently spots a customer to serve. Ally wonders why Audra still thinks she has a shot with Noah. You didn’t do anything to lead her on, did you? She knows Noah’s hiding something.
Vikki does want to know what Chelsea’s intentions are towards Johnny. Chelsea won’t do anything that makes them uncomfortable. You’ve done an amazing job – he’s a lucky kid; thank you. Vikki loves Johnny and would do anything for him. Both want what’s best for him.
Noah confesses that Audra wants him back – she kissed me; I pulled away immediately. Did you kiss her back??? Noah can’t be sure – it happened so fast. Do I need to be worried? Ally asks.
Sally doesn’t have much free time for personal matters – she and Chloe are starting an interior desgin business (hopefully contracted by CW) And yes, she and Nick are seeing each other but taking things slow. Adam wishes them both well.
I told you so? My work is done here, Phyllis stands to ask the Baldwins why Adam has a job at Jabot he never shows up for while she’s fired. On cue, Sally comes over to tell Phyllis that she’ll soon be competing with Marchetti Home. Mike and Lauren leave Phyllis to mutter that everyone’s lost their damn mind.
