Running into one another at Society, Nick and Sally see no reason they can’t have breakfast together (much to the interest of Lauren, though Mike couldn’t care less)
When Jack comes downstairs, Diane thanks him for letting her sleep over. She’ll leave first so no one at Jabot gets the wrong idea. Wrong idea about what? Ashley appears to demand.
A defiant Jack explains to Ashley that he invited Diane to stay the night because Jeremy was here. Having gotten nowhere with Phyllis, he wonders whether Ashley summoned him. After Diane leaves, Ashley wonders whether she’s using him as an excuse to jump into Jack’s bed.
At CL’s, Vikki’s whining about Nick being distracted by Sally when Stark walks in. Nikki gasps – she doesn’t know him but she knows OF him.
While Lauren continues to wonder about Nick and Sally, Mike focuses on the menu (and then their own love story) Lauren hopes Sally’s intentions towards Nick are good.
Yes, Lauren’s still staring – but, being a Newman, Nick’s used to the scrutiny. He’s surprised when Sally offers to tell her about her worst moments – you’re worth it. Summer’s not happy to see them clasping hands across the table.
Kyle interrupts Jack and Ashley’s argument to announce that he’s already been to confront Stark.
As Jeremy watches, Vikki and Nikki whisper before hurrying off to work.
Outside, Jack’s office, Phyllis mocks Diane – who wastes no time announcing that she slept over (then walks off)
When Summer marches over to express her disapproval, Nick scolds her for being rude. After Sally excuses herself to call Chloe, Summer sits to warn her Father that he’s being used.
Eyeing Ashley, Kyle updates his Dad that he warned Stark to stay away from his Mother. Jack agrees that he’s dangerous – Diane showed him his text message. Kyle’s now more worried and more furious who with whoever’s responsible.
In Jack’s office, Diane puts Phyllis out of her misery – she slept in the guestroom. He was so strong and protective. Thanks. That bond isn’t unbreakable, Phyllis warns. On cue, Stark strolls in – he was hoping to find Diane (who looks terrified)
