Audra wonders if Noah’s so eager to leave because he feels uncomfortable around her. Your new friend seems cute. Don’t disparage Ally, he jumps to her defense. Audra recognizes the signs of Noah being in love. He declares her one of the biggest mistakes of his life and asks that she keep her distance.
While waiting for Audra to join their meeting, Devon’s surprised she didn’t come with Nate. You two have been joined at the hip. He then suggests he take some time off to work things out with his girlfriend. When Audra arrives, they discuss Tucker possibly wanting to take advantage of the stock offering. Devon wants to hold off on going public but accepts Nate’s bold idea to move things up.
Diane joins Nikki and Tucker to hear how he almost died in a car crash in Monte Carlo; it’s eye-opening to face ones’ mortality. When Diane launches into her ‘I’ve changed’ spiel, Tucker commends her for making inroads. Wait a minute – you’ve been back for two days, Nikki wonders how he could possibly know that.
Ashley doesn’t understand why Jack’s so bent out of shape about Tucker being in town. He treated you atrociously, Jack reminds. Yes, he cheated twice; once with Diane, Ashley has no love left for Tucker but thinks maybe she should see him.
When their meeting concludes, Nate leaves for another meeting. Devon invites Audra to join him at CL’s. That leaves Lily to ask Billy to look into what Tucker’s up to – but is annoyed by his lack of enthusiasm.
Jack and Ashley have no doubt that Tucker’s up to something but disagree on whether his reappearance is connected to Diane’s. Clearly not impressed that Ashley’s determined to see Tucker, Jack wishes her good luck and slams out.
Tucker has eyes – and if Diane hadn’t made progress she wouldn’t have been at the wedding. He’d love to pick her brain on how she got people to forgive her. Lips pursed, Nikki thinks the pair might bond over all sorts of shady things.
Nate wastes no time calling Vikki to update that CW is on high alert because of Tucker. They’re going public sooner than planned; we need to be ready. After hanging up, Nate turns to ask Elena how long she’s been standing there. Long enough, but she just wants him to hear her out.
On the CL’s patio, Devon would like to get to know Audra better, like Nate has. She suspects something’s bothering him – as she’s very good at reading people.
Elena had hoped their love would be enough for Nate to change his mind. Now, she appeals to him to change his mind for his OWN sake. You know how the Newmans operate – no one breaks into that inner circle. Where will you be if Vikki cuts you loose? (after betraying Devon and Lily)
Phyllis barges into Jack’s office to talk business – but can see that something’s wrong. He’s pissed off because Ashley wants to meet with Tucker; which is a big mistake.
Refusing to be baited by Nikki, Diane goes to pick up her takeout. Getting a text from Ashley, Tucker can’t leave Society fast enough.
Lily can see that Billy’s heart’s not in it; you’re doing what I want you to do, instead of following your own ‘bliss’. Billy admits she’s right – being your right-hand man isn’t working. But, he’s not sure what he wants to do.
Jack’s certain Tucker’s up to something and hates that he thinks Ashley will forgive him. Phyllis has to believe that forgiveness is always possible.
Invited in, Tucker tells Ashley that she looks beautiful. I’ve missed you. I’ve dreamt of this day for a long time. Ashley doesn’t want compliments – why are you here, Tucker?
