Mike’s practically giddy to report that Taylor/Diane didn’t have so much as a traffic ticket in LA. Nikki’s not convinced. Have you never once needed forgiveness? Mike challenges. Nikki’s never done anything as evil as Diane. Getting a text from Diane, Mike jumps up – looks like Diane’s taken a step toward rectifying some of her so-called evil.
Diane lurks as Ashland chats with Harrison. He’s glad his son’s surrounded by people who love him. Yes DD. Lurking, Diane gets a text from Mike – police alerted – keep him there.
Billy and Chelsea are having a nice chat with Summer and Kyle until Kyle gets a text from Mike. He and Summer suddenly have to go.
Back at Chancellor, Imani talks about her Mother’s condition and a specialized rehab center, Nate recommended. Imani hopes Amanda and her Dad will agree to it (and her Mom) Nate’s offer to talk to them is appreciated. When he leaves, Imani’s about to follow him when Lily asks her to stay for a chat.
Billy makes it clear that Chelsea’s not a consultant – you’re a co-host; it’s OUR podcast. Chelsea’s excited about plotting a new course – when do we start?
Knowing that Amanda and Imani are going through a lot, Lily doesn’t want her to worry about Elena’s contract – we have a legal department. Again gushing about Nate’s kindness, Imani declines joining Amanda. It’s best we visit Mom separately – this has caused some stress between us, Imani explains.
Billy’s brought Chelsea into their recording studio. Two chairs, two mics; the gambler and the con. Chelsea wants to use their history – be honest, call each other out. No one has a crazier history than us – the listeners are gonna eat it up.
At CL’s, Imani’s on the phone with Amanda – Lily said you could take extra time off to help Mom with the transition. Nate appears to hear that they’ve decided on the facility in Virginia he recommended. I’m so scared, Imani sniffles her way into an awkward half-hug.
Ashland’s chat with Harrison ends when he spots Mike and Nikki. Then Diane. It dawns on him that he’s been played yet again.
Billy loves the idea but does Chelsea really want everyone to hear about her past – like Connor? Chelsea already told him. When Lily calls, Billy tells her that he’s in the studio spitballing ideas with Chelsea. Lily reminds him about a meeting. Love you ~click~ Lily has something else to say but Billy’s already hung up. He tells Chelsea that he wants to start recording right now.
Ashland gives Harrison a big hug. Returning with ice cream, Diane takes Harrison off to eat it. Seconds later, Kyle and Summer arrive. Where’s my son? Kyle barks at Ashland.
