Good – I hope you saw everything, Phyllis sputters that Diane was the aggressor; that she kept it together until just now. Jack could see that Diane was pushing her buttons but has no idea if Diane was provoked. Astounded that Jack doesn’t see what Diane’s up to, Phyllis warns Jack that by the time he realizes he made a mistake and wants her back, it’ll be too late. Jack’s left to make faces in the park.
Diane joins Summer and Jack to talk business. They’ll all be working together at Jabot until their Marchetti office space is ready. Both look alarmed by how excited Diane is.
Victor wants to celebrate what Vikki’s done – it’s extraordinary. Not so fast, Nick warns that Ashland will be out for revenge. Nope – Vikki threatened to expose his cancer fraud. Adam watches intently as Nick persists – if Ashland’s got nothing to lose, what’s to stop him?
How does Adam feel about you hiring me? Chloe asks. He approved it, Sally believes they can accomplish great things together. Listing everything that makes Chloe the right person for the job, Sally knows she can shine bright at Newman Media. All you have to do is say ‘yes’.

After Chloe goes home to think it over, Adam rants ‘n raves – Vikki’s back, the family pulled the rug out from under me again. If they think I’ll just sit and take it, they’re in for a rude awakening, he yanks his tie loose.
Vikki sometimes felt she had to push her family away – but now realizes they’re the reason for her success. Nick, you’re the best brother and friend I could ask for. She has equally nice things to say about her parents. It’s time for the family to work together, including Nick.
