At TGP, Jack assures Phyllis that he wants ‘this’ to happen too – but we should take it slow, be in sync. Phyllis would like to be in sync right now. Jack has to go meet Kyle. About business or Diane? He’s not sure but won’t influence him one way or the other. Phyllis is left to mutter – someone has to.
On the CL’s patio, Chloe appreciates Summer’s praise but credits Chelsea with designing the wedding dresses. They agree that designers need someone like them to keep the creative juices flowing. Chloe runs off to meet Chelsea.
At Society, Adam grumbles about Victor dropping his streaming platform idea and Vikki’s vacation has postponed their plan to reunite her and Ashland. Leaving a loud message for Chloe, Chelsea turns to see them.
Harrison on a playdate in the backyard, Kyle appreciates his Mom not pushing things – he’s not sure what she’ll be to his son. Diane will take her cues from Kyle. When Jack comes home, Kyle announces that his Mother will be staying in town for a while. Diane correctly guesses he already heard.
At CL’s, Summer encourages her Mom to get it out (about Diane staying in town) Phyllis demands she talk to Kyle – get his Mother out of town!
Everything’s great, Chelsea assures Adam. She and Sally are arguing when Chloe arrives to apologize – her phone died.
Jack was hoping to have a talk with Kyle but denies he’s influencing his son. Diane believes him but not Phyllis. She assumed he was in on her being kicked out of TGP. Jack’s only advice to Kyle is to be careful; there’s no going back on this.
Summer won’t give Kyle an ultimatum. Phyllis wants her to persuade him. Diane choosing to fake her death and leave her son is not the same as Phyllis being in a coma, or Jack reconnecting with Dina. Summer’s beginning to suspect that her Mother’s more worried about herself than Kyle.
Diane warns Jack that she and Kyle might feel ganged up on and insists she’s being honest with Kyle. Jack fumes when Diane suggests Harrison call her DD. Kyle likes it.
Everyone in town hates Diane, Phyllis knows she’s been plotting this for a long time – don’t underestimate what she’ll do to your marriage. Summer will let it play out but there is something she wants to discuss.
Back at Society, Chelsea and Sally exchange a few more catty comments before Chloe takes her partner off to talk business. Agreeing that Chelsea’s on edge, Adam seems worried about her mental state.
