Distance makes the heart grow fonder – Vikki will miss Ashland while on her spa vacation, Sally preaches patience to Adam. Reiterating their goal to both be CEO’s, Adam wonders if Sally could be content in second place after she knows how good it feels to be in first.
Back at CL’s, Noah and Nick continue to work overtime to keep the smile on Sharon’s face. Next up, bad dance moves and brownies!
Sharing the story of how she came to GC, Elena squirms when Imani asks what broke her and Devon up. Amanda’s not smiling either.
Unpacking their food, Nate thinks they should go bigger than promoting CW as just a family company – go for global domination. Devon and Lily chuckle – who knew Nate was such a business phenom? He plans to make Neil proud. It’s like Billy’s not even in the office.
Elena’s past is her business. My sister has a hard time knowing when to stop, Amanda gently tells Imani – then a tad more forcefully. Elena tells the whole story of how she and Amanda ended up with Nate and Devon. And now, we’re neighbours and friends. All three clink glasses.
After Nate and Devon leave for the night, Billy agrees that the meeting was productive. ARE we on the same page? Lily senses that he’s in a mood (or feeling part of the family) Billy admits that he doesn’t always feel as important but is sure he’ll find his place. He looks worried as Lily hugs him.
Sally didn’t just enjoy her temporary reign as CEO, she loved it (and the power) But, she’s not going anywhere. Adam’s happy to have her in his corner. So, what now? Sex at TGP of course.
Billy records his thoughts on insecurity. Where is your place in this world?
Sharon thanks Nick for making her laugh. Mentioning that Faith’s with Moses, she admits that she’s struggling with her leaving for school. Nick understands – both want Faith to become the person she’s meant to be.
When Devon comes home, Amanda leaps into his arms. Hearing that she’s worried about her Mom’s health, Devon wonders why Nate heard about it before he did.
Elena awakens when Nate comes home – she’s happy that his meeting went well. Her time with Amanda and Imani? Fine, on the surface. Keep your eyes open – Imani’s definitely after you.
Imani’s a harmless flirt, Nate has only one woman in his heart – don’t feel threatened by her. Elena won’t – nothing will come between us.
Amanda tells Devon that she asked Nate not to tell him – she didn’t want to distract him or drop everything. Devon wants to be there for Amanda, never doubt that – hug.
Back at CL’s, Noah listens to Billy’s podcast on insecurity as Nick reminds Sharon that she’ll still have Noah (just think about ‘dinner’ and he shows up) Did you say something? he pulls his earbuds out to ask. Naw. Sharon’s happy when Nick says she’s always welcome to spend time with him and Christian.
Adam and Sally will have to be careful that Victor doesn’t catch them plotting against (Vikki and) Ashland. He’s got him under surveillance so we can’t get caught up in that. Something Sally says gives Adam an idea – we need a crisis to divert Victor’s attention away from Ashland.
My Thoughts; Why would Sally be worried about there not being enough room in GC for both Newman Media and Chancellor Winters? Does she think media companies are confined to GC? The goal is global appeal; hence the first and second W’s in WORLD WIDE web … Who Nick was so talented at throwing stuff around? But tone it down a notch, dude … Imani is just gross. If Nate’s stupid enough to willingly fall for her, he deserves her … Is there no cafeteria at Chancellor? Not even a boardroom table? Are three well-dressed executives supposed to eat their dinner out of flimsy cardboard containers over a coffee table? Even Pizza Pizza and KFC will throw in paper plates if you ask….
