Victor strolls into the office as Adam’s griping to Sally about Ashland having half a billion of their money. Victor vows to get it back and wonders if Vikki knows he’s still in town. As for seeing Sharon, it’s not a good idea.
Harrison upstairs playing, Kyle hugs his Dad and Phyllis (for Summer) and mentions Rey’s passing. Family’s everything. When Phyllis abruptly leaves them alone, Kyle correctly guesses that his Dad’s announcement must be important if he summoned him from Italy.
Back at Newman Media, Sally disagrees with Victor (who says that Sharon has all the support she needs, from Nick and her kids)
Chelsea gushes about Rey and tells Vikki that he went home to get the hockey tickets. Vikki tears up – sorry for your loss.
Nikki warns Diane to stay away from Victor, Nick and Adam. They hated you. No one ever wanted you here, no one ever will, she slams out.
Jack thanks Kyle for taking over the business so he could mourn Keemo’s passing. He has a story to share about who put him in touch with Ally, and why.
At TGP, Phyllis is very polite with Ashland. Kyle probably didn’t answer your call because he’s tired from the flight – we’ll bring Harrison to your house for a visit. When he thanks her, she hurries off.
Jack tells Kyle that the reason he got the mysterious texts that sent him to LA ‘was all about you’.
Vikki’s surprised to find her Dad in her office. He’s pissed that Ashland’s still in town after taking his money and though the legal part’s over, he knows it won’t be easy for her to let Ashland go.
Running into Ashland in the hotel lobby, Nikki wonders what the hell he’s doing still in town. I love your daughter, he replies.
Vikki won’t trust Ashland again. Victor’s not there to scold her; he’s just glad she’s OK. Don’t be sorry about a damn thing, everything will be alright.
Nikki doesn’t want her daughter to ever have to see Ashland again. She appreciates him saving Vikki’s life but won’t forgive him. Ashland’s getting tired of the Newmans – Vikki will be the one to decide.
When Sharon comes to the coffee shop (with Nick) Chelsea expresses heartfelt condolences; take time to mourn. I shouldn’t be mourning at all, Sharon snaps.
Diane leaves a message for Jack – please let me know when Kyle’s in town.
Ignoring his phone, Jack continues – the person who sent the texts about Keemo and Ally is someone we know. Opening or closing this door is totally up to you. Your Mother’s alive; she’s here and she wants to see you. Kyle looks understandably gobsmacked.
